The UK is suppossed to be really expensive on food with milk at £1.50 for 4 pints and bread at cheapest £1 a sliced loaf (yuk though) I have me, hubby and 4 children to feed and I spend £10 a day as that is all I have. Its pretty tough but I do it, no processed food ever and I make everything from scratch. Toiletries and…

I agree, they are jealous and it makes people spiteful and mean! I used to get, bet you are having more sex! - eh! as in bet your hubby cant keep his hands off you, actually he hated feeling all my bones sticking through my skin but I couldnt tell them that - maybe I should have! Just smile sweetly and shrug...! Yes, it is…

Looking HOt doesnt mean looking skinny - to me skinny people look ill! You need to be healthy... stop obsessing about your appearance, you look pretty hot as you are! Concentrate on health, being healthy isnt obsessing about your weight. You need to be comfortable and happy in your skin hun, then you will be hot! x

Hello mammam! I hope your recovery is going ok, I cant exercise much due to hip problems I have due to over-exercising in the past so dont worry too much, hopefully by then you will be walking in the SUN!!! Slow and steady is the way to go...this site is fun and helpful, I lost weight with weight watchers too but I cant…

Its gotta be cycling eh, or you could try a rebounder mini trampoline. I am a power walker and the rebounder gets me as puffed if I work it good...it is a tricky one. Or how about rowing?! Good for you and Hi from the UK!

I have tried this on my porridge etc but not sure... I always say that natural is best but... REMEMBER sugar is the only food our bodies dont need, we make our own! (unless you have medical reasons of course!)

If you want something hot n easy I always take pot noodles and a flask of hot water to make them with. Just chicken breast and salad with fresh stuff.... Hope you have a nice time, sounds lovely. All that walking will be good for your cals too so dont worry too much, enjoy! x

Blimey, you must have started early to be a grandmum....!!! Wish I had. My youngest is 9, oldest 13 (with 2x10 year olds i the middle) so I have a while yet I hope before I get to be a grandma! I love children, and used to work in primary school and babies are just so scrummy! x

First of all, you look amazing in your profile pic...in my opinion you certainly dont need to lose any more! Cravings are horrible but you should not be starving at any point really, maybe you are not balancing your meals out across the day. ? Cravings are just evil - try and distract yourself, but if you do need to eat…

I wonder this about me too, I always think I am being good to have cals left over and I like to leave some in case I have mis-calculated etc...you know got portion sizes wrong etc. If I drink all my water I just dont feel like eating...thanks for posting this I have same question. YES YOU CAN! But a 12" ....thats 3 meals in my book. You should be aiming for smaller portion sizes not bigger...you may not pay the price from your wallet but you will with your health! Come on, get with the program fella!!! Dont mean to be harsh! Is this post a joke? I just realised you said meal 5...!!!

Stick at it and you will see results, this site isnt about crash diets it is about a new life-style. Yiou have to think of the big picture as in where you will be in a year not a month. I was sceptical too to be honest but if I make sure I eat ALL my cals and drink as much water as I can it works, it really does. The aim…

I would say Coffee doesnt count but decaf coffee and herb tea and english tea with mik does?! The main point is to keep hydrated...thats what we are trying to achieve with the count isnt it?! Its just a guide and a reminder to drink fluid not anythig else I guess...such as sugary drinks and milky coffees etc...but water is…

MALNUTRITION is not something you want to muck about with - ie being under the 1200 cals mark ... I was bulimic and was on about 500 cals a day ( after my exercising and purging ) for nearly 3 years and the effects of the lack of nutrition on my body were not funny and I felt really awful every single day. I had terrible…

My fitness coach used to say your muscles need time to repair so you shouldnt do cardio every day, you wont workout efficiently as your muscles will be tired from the day before. Every other day is fine, dont feel bad, you will get more injuries if your muscles are tired then you will end up with more than a day off! Do…

yup, walking is a fab exercise, if you use your arms you tone up all muscle groups and will get toned legs, butt, abs, hips and arms! and it is easy to sustain without injury. I lost 56lbs a few years ago by walking, and the fresh air and sunshine is great for your health too! So go girl...keep it up! I am with you...! I…

Hi, well good for you for coming on here, I know exactly how you feel - it can just all seem like such a big mountain to climb cant it! I find that to start with try having what you normally would eat but have a much smaller serving of it, like you have with your cereal. You can learn along the way, its a marathon not a…

Hey, bless you all for replying, I am sitting here head in hands and you all take the time to help me, thanks so much. For info, my hubby has four herniated discs which is ongoing and horrid for him but lately he has suffered a mental breakdown again and is trying new Bipolar meds so he is a bit all over the place. He is…

Its a bit like groovy fondue but grilled...kind of idea, I first had it in Portugal 10 years ago and am excited to have my own now, the kids love it and you dont seem to eat as much as you think so it works out really well, the kids love to cook their own. My youngest is 9 so its quite sensible and I am right there, they…

My hubby has quit 5 weeks ago now, he had been smoking 30 odd years too. He has mental health problems so it was very hard for him but if he can do it, so can you.
