  • I've been doing Daily Burn for 19 days straight now, and I love it! It's really simple, I hook it up to my TV and go for half an hour every day. The diversity in the workouts is great, and so far I can feel myself getting stronger each time the same workout rolls around again. I still have a little while before the free…
  • Yeah, not sure how many calories you burn by being on your feet every day, but using the MFP activity level thing should take that into account. All i know is the more you're on your feet and walking around, the better. My twin sister is a waitress and she looks better than me because she spends all day on her feet running…
  • Daily Burnnnn! I've done 10 days of it and love it! You get a 30 day free trial and can cancel at any time if you don't like it. And if you do, It's only $10/mo for the basic package, more if you use their meal tracker, which I don't cuz I'm on here. Also, I'm in Rochester NY, so I'm getting a ton of snow too, it's been…
  • I've lost about 8 lbs and while I don't see a big difference in the mirror, my clothes fit me a lot better, and my workout pants that didn't fit me at all the last time i was this size fit me pretty well this time around, so I can tell even though it might not feel like it, or the scale might not necessarily show it, I do…
  • Yeah I just finished day 5, figuring while it's free why not try it out and I am thoroughly pleased so far! The workouts are all great and manageable to fit into my schedule. I'm glad I gave it a shot, and hey for 10 bucks a month, it's still less than a gym membership, so I don't feel too bad spending the money if I like…
  • Hi! This is actually me :P Not that anyone cares, but still.
  • Counting calories absolutely helps a lot! I am not always 100% accurate with my calories, I don't necessarily weigh out everything, but even just knowing what you're eating, being aware of how many calories your favorite foods are and how many calories you actually eat every day is really helpful to getting you on the…
  • This is basically how I do it; as a busy college student with limited cooking facilities it's hard to find the time/tools to always cook healthy meals. We eat out a lot, but my boyfriend and I are both using MFP and if we splurge a little on lunch we make sure and log it and don't eat as much the rest of the day. As long…

  • It's $10/mo so since I'm employed now, that seems reasonable assuming I like it. At least I think that's for the basic program, it might be more depending on the type of program you sign up for idk, but it appears that it's $10/mo.
  • I usually only drink a few drinks every other weekend, nothing major mostly low-calorie mixed drinks at home. But I used to drink every weekend probably slightly heavier than that, so I haven't eliminated it completely but I've definitely cut back.
  • Wow! You couldn't pay me to do that, even if it does help with weight loss! The more power to you for doing it!
  • I used to put coconut oil in my coffee and blend it in the blender. It made it more creamy instead of oily. Was really good! I don't really like coffee too much, but that definitely helped the flavor. I felt like I had a ton more energy after drinking it, more so than with just regular coffee.
  • Thanks everyone, I'll definitely do a little more research!

  • Taco Bell would probably have to be my No. 1, with Subway, and any kind of pizza tied for second... At Taco Bell, I usually get a grilled stuffed nacho and a doritos locos taco (the fiery ones are the best) Subway I like to get turkey, provolone, spinach, lettuce, and banana peppers, with just a little mayo on a flatbread.…
  • I have just discovered FitnessBlender videos on youtube and they are awesome! Only been doing them a few days, but I really like em!
  • Thanks everyone. I've definitely slacked off during the holidays, but hopefully once I get back to school/work I will get into a routine and stick with it. I am also going to start working out at least 1/2 an hour 5-6 days a week to get some exercise and go from there.
  • Thank you everybody! I appreciate all of your experiences and advice!
  • Haha yess! I was waiting for someone to do that XD
  • Thanks guys :) It's mostly refined stuff unfortunately. Perhaps I should watch where my carbs come from as opposed to restricting them.
  • I'm 5'4" and weigh 167 lbs. My goal is 130-135. I don't really know my measurements, so I'm not sure what I am/want to be there.
  • As someone who has also not been seeing a lot of progress in about a month, I found these very helpful. I already drink a lot of water, and I haven't gotten to exercise too much due to my hectic final project schedule, but I will definitely start some strength training again! My goal for calories is 1200 now, but I am not…
  • Same boat! I'm 21, in my 4th year of school and since high school I have gained 40 pounds, then lost almost 30, then put 35 back on again. That's where I am now, and it's been completely frustrating. But now I'm really trying to get back on track and lose the weight for good! It's been a challenge being at college, but we…
  • I took a spinning class at my school. Definitely tell the instructor it's your first time and they'll help you with setting up the bike. It's really fun though. Just remember to pace yourself, and if you can't do some of the more intense intervals at first, it's ok. Heck, I got to the end and still couldn't keep up with…
  • My goal is 20lbs by Christmas!
  • I was gonna say, I definitely should!
  • OK thanks very much guys. I over think pretty much everything, I'm just an anxious person, so I'm sure I'll be fine with 1550 for at least another week or so and then I can see where I am. Thanks for the help, and hey, I'm always looking for friends so feel free to add me!
  • Thank you guys! I haven't lost anything so far, but I'm i guess just trying to find what works at this point and roll with it. Judging by your website FrankiesSaysR, maybe I was really ok with the 1550 (website said 1591). I'll think about it a little more! I can always stay with 1550 and go down if it just isn't working.
  • I was curious about this too. I usually use either the liquid Crystal Light or Dasani flavorings. It gets me to drink more water, so I don't really question it. The alternatives sound like good ideas though!
