It depends on why you want or think you need a detox, have you abused your body? drugs? alcohol? In some cases a week of detox can be okay. Not long term, just a cleanse to reboot...but it all depends on what type of detoxing you are considering, there are healthy means of detox.

My one rule that I have stuck to is this, "no white at night" meaning = no rice, no potato, no bread, no sugar, no anything white at all, ever. The" at night " is a key to this equation.

Yes they have them at regular grocery stores. I think they trick my brain to feel like it has been satisfied with ice cream, with out all of the sugar and calories. Do you know your BMI and BMR ? If you don't have these base starting numbers how do you know exactly how many calories you should be eating per day? As well as adding exercise

Drink water, try a flavor stick in your water for something different. If you are really hungry eat a piece of fruit, or a yogurt to satisfy the craving.
