I started swimming and treading water 3 weeks ago. I'm down 14 pounds and 13 inches!

I've had Mirena for over 10 years and LOVE IT! I didn't gain weight from it - I gained weight from everything BUT this. For those of you considering an IUD - this is the BEST!! I haven't had a period in more than 10 years. How awesome is that!?! And the hormonal highs and lows are practically gone. I highly recommend it.

I just jump right back in the same way I jumped all over that crummy eating day. It's okay to kick yourself, but don't hurt yourself while doing it by staying down. :)

What an amazing transformation! You should be proud of the hard work you put into getting yourself healthy and fit. You look great!!!

Your story is amazing, and surprisingly enough, could be written by so many people!!! I saw myself in some of your words, others will see themselves in other words. You are an amazing woman with great potential, and you are doing wonders for your health and self-esteem. Keep up the tremendous work you've been doing by…

You need to get yourself ou tof the diet mentality. You don't need a diet. Diets are for those who seek a quick fix. You need a lifestyle change. Rethink your game and come up with a new plan and quit second-guessing yourself.

I'm curious as to why you have been eating around 600/700 calories as well as working out? That's some scary stuff. I hope you can successfully increase your calories to a healthier amount to fuel your body. It's not existing on much at all, I'll bet.

The snotty *****es here at work who found out they have been hired on permanently....all the while rubbing it in to those who haven't heard yet. Losers!

What time does your hubby leave in the morning? How about getting up a bit earlier and either going to the gym or taking a nice walk to clear you rmind for your day ahead? I know you said you are staying up so late doing homework, but how about trying a flipflop to the day instead. Get up extra early, even if just a couple…

Every day brings a new set of choices and you made a good one for yourself. Way to go!

Congrats! No matter where you started or where you are going to (in your weight loss journey), this is a major accomplishment and you should be proud!!

So....you had the Chicken Whopper, huh? Tell me - where are you located? The middle east? Europe? I'm asking because the Chicken Whopper has been discontinued in the U.S., Turkey, New Zealand, Portugal, Italy and Spain it has been replaced by the TenderGrill Chicken Sandwich. And if you did happen to get your hands on one,…

I am just out of a 2 month plateau. Grr. They are difficult on the motivation, but stick with your program (or maybe change it up a bit). You can do it!!!

Is this a serious post??

What size weights did you use? Did you start somewhat light and work toward heavier?
-
This was exactly what I was going to say. This happened to me when I first started out and it kind of worried me. Then I loosened my shoe laces and numb no more. :)

I apply direct pressure to it, constantly. It's finally starting to work itself out, but it still hurts. It's just a different type of hurt than it was before, more of a dull ache. As for the pressure, I press my foot against the leg/base of my work chair and kind of 'knead' it. Hurts like crazy when I'm doing it, but it…

I'm not sure how you're surviving on such low calories. Your body won't like that for very long.
-
Hmm - so why don't you elaborate, then, if you know all the right answers?
-
You do not want to have a deficit of only 800 caloires. You need to eat those calories to fuel your body.
-
MFP has already figured in your deficit by how you responded to your setup questions (daily activity levels). If you are set at 1200 and then burn 500 during a workout, you should eat a good portion (or at least some) of those calories back. If you don't, that means your body is going on just 700 calories of fuel and that…

Avocados. It took me awhile to get out of the mindset of healthy=expensive, because it just isn't that way. I've finally gotten to the point where the majority of my shopping is at the perimeter of the store and I rarely venture into the aisle down the middle. The outer areas have veggies, meats, dairy, fruits. Hit the…

Boston!!! But they will never be the same without Brad Delp, may he rest in peace!

Welcome! You've found the right place for support, information, friends and even entertainment. Feel free to add me as a friend.

Yes, I schedule mine. I hit the treadmill both of my 15 minute breaks during the work week. I also stay late 2-3 days and walk an additional 30 minutes. We're lucky to have a few treadmills and ellipticals where I work. :)
