Swimming for Weight Loss
I know swimming has many benefits but am wondering how many of you use swimming laps/treading water at moderate pace, etc, as your primary aerobic workout. What are the pros and cons you've noticed? Any tips on how to increase the content and intensity and change up the routine in addition to the laps? Thanks in advance!

For the amount of time I'm working out and the calories I'm burning, I was hoping the scale would magically show a smaller number, but…

Three short workouts vs. one long
I have the opportunity to use a treadmill at work during breaks and lunch. So my routine has become two 15 minute walks at 3.4 mph with an incline of 8-10. I do this 5 days/week. And about 2-3 days per week I walk an extra 20 minutes before work starts. My question is this - is it just as effective for weight loss to break…
