Not working here either. Very frustrating.

I quit cold turkey 6 months ago. It wasn't easy the first few weeks, but man am I SO glad that I did it. I am 110% sure that I will never put another cigarette in my mouth again. Besides the 10 pounds I gained, I feel amazing! Keep going - it only gets easier. I couldn't tell you the last time that I had a craving.

I was addicted to Diet Pepsi. One day at random, I decided that I was going to give it up. That was 5 months ago. The first 10 days were manageable, but I did have a weird headache (that caffeine would not cure - so I knew it was from the junk in the Diet Pepsi). I thought (hoped?) that by giving up my DP, I would also…

Alrighty. I adjusted both my weight loss goal per week to 1 pound, and my goal weight to 140 (for now). MFP gives me 1440 calories, without exercise. I will give this a whirl for one solid month. If no results, I will be sulking in the corner. I'll leave my Fitbit alone, and use it for the cool dashboard "goals" (for now).…

When I set up MFP to use it as it's intended, it gives me 1200 calories whether or not I want to lose 1 pound a week or 2. 1200 calories is painful and I fail daily at 1200. I'm just trying to understand TDEE, BMR, and the difference of my fitbit vs. myfitnesspal (my fitbit gives me more calories) I am 5'3 and currently…

Ok. So - if I use Light Exercise, it gives me 1901 calories. This means that I should then eat 1401 calories and not eat back any of my exercise calories. THIS ^ is probably why I am not losing weight. (I had my calories set at 1500 and have been eating back all of my exercise calories - sometimes a bit over).
-
I do. Ours takes about an hour - push mowing and I always work up a good sweat. Though, I usually don't eat back my exercise calories if I can help it.

I have been a midnight 'snacker' for a few years now - hence the 20 pound gain (along with a few other things), but as of late, I have been have saving some calories for snacks before bed. I'll make a 100 calorie bag of popcorn, and then if I'm still hungry, have a greek yogurt.

Are you on Pinterest? Do a search for 'Tank Top Arms' (I do this when I have to workout at home, with 10lb dumbells), or search for 'Lowerbody Workout'. You can do these with or without weights. It's a good starting point anyways...

I'm not sure if weight gain was the culprit of my body hair (neck and face), or if it was pregnancy (5 years later), or what. I've recently started laser hair removal though - because I doubt that, for me, it would go away even if I continue to lose weight. I still have about 20 pounds left to lose - so we'll see...

I was on Celexa for 2+ years for anxiety. Gained 25 pounds in 6 months, though many will tell you that the drug doesn't have an effect on weight/weightloss, I believe that Celexa was the main culprit of my weight gain. I quit taking it in September of 2013 and am finally starting to see a tiny bit of movement down - but…

me! i'm 5'3, and currently at 162. my goal is 135. i'm hoping to get into the 140's by the end of march, whether it be 140, or 149... recently i've slacked off by not going to the gym, and i'm trying to get back my mojo to do so!
-
Feel free to add me! I'd love to have people around my same height and weight goals! I'm 5'3, and my all-time high was 160lbs. Current weight is 155. Goal is 135!!
-
I'd like some more buddies too! I'm 5'3", and currently at 153. Goal is 130-135!
-
Please share how you did this! That is fantastic

I'm 5'3 - and hit my high of 155 this past summer. <sigh> So - here I am. My goal weight is 135 where I was for a few years prior to having a child in 2008. Since then, I've gained 20 pounds and am disgusted with myself! If anyone would add me as a friend, that would be great! Need to have some motivation from someone…
