Great job on coming up with a balanced plan for eating and exercise! You might want to look at adding some more protein and/or fat to your snacks, if within you calorie goals. They may be more filling/satisfying than veggie chips or dried fruit. Or maybe regular veggies and fruit rather than the processed versions...more…

Me, too! I'm near my (interim) goal weight and now want to focus on maintaining this weight while I quit smoking I'm planning on using patches +/- lozenges for nicotine replacement while I work on breaking the psychological/behavioral habits of lighting one up. Good luck!

At your age and size, your maintenance calorie allowance is probably somewhere between 2400 and 2700kcal/day based on your height and activity level. Great topic! I've just been wondering the same thing myself. I'm 5'10", right now I'm 187lbs with about 14%bf, according to a home Tanita scale, so LBM ~160 My original goal had been 180lbs, but I just re-set it down to 175lbs. And I'll see how that looks when I get there.

Riff, I'm getting close to being in the same boat as you. I've had no real problem losing weight in the past, but it's never been durable. I'm getting close to my 'goal' weight now, still have some fat to lose and would like more muscle. Switching to maintenance has me pretty anxious, though. I like the idea of a threshold…
