"it's fine" we all know there is nothing fine and stuff is about to go down.

I found the same issue on all devices yesterday too.
-
I'll happily support anyone who is looking to make a positive change. If they don't continue in their goal, that is their issue.

I walk/hike anywhere from 5-10km a day with my dogs. It's why I got active dogs. I knew they would get me moving. That and yoga have been my only exercise in my weight loss (55lbs).

The cold makes me go a whole lot faster on my walks. Lol.

One meal won't derail you. Enjoy the night with your wife. Right back to in first meal of 2018.

The question is....did you eat enough extra to gain 1.5lbs? An extra 5250 calories in that timeframe where the scale went up. If not, it's just your body. Could be food or water weight. Or hormonal. Keep trudging. It's a marathon, not a sprint.

I can share my story to help you stay on track hopefully. I was also severely restricting calories. I won't even say how low my numbers were but I lost 50lbs in 2 months to give you an idea. At the end of the two months my friends had to intervene because of how physically and mentally sick I had become. I had no ability…

That sounds miserable and unhealthy. CICO!!!

Anyone is welcome to add me. I've lost about 53lb in the last half of the year. Have another 50 to go at least. I'm not the best at logging but I'll support you!
-
I had the exact same issue. I had lost 53lbs. Put back on 8lbs due to depression. I've got myself back on track and only need to lose 0.4lbs to get back to where I was. New year goal! Then it's time to get serious again. I would like to lose another 50. And then reset goals.
-
I had lost 53lbs. I stopped tracking and caring. I put back on 8. My goal was to get rid of that 8 before New Years. Only 0.4lbs left to get back to where I was. Then I need to set realistic and healthy weight loss goals for the new year. No rushing.
-
I was losing steady (but not in a healthy way). Doctor made me take a break. I've decided it's time to get back on track. I've out back on 8 of the 50 I had lost in 2 months. Very stressed about that. Time to get back to losing healthy! You can do it! I can do it. Let's go!

My scale died. I had to go buy a new one. It was a 2.5 difference higher. I was not a happy camper. I adjusted my weight and now use this ones numbers. I just "relost" the 2.5. I know in my head I didn't gain anything.

Thank you. I have an amazing group of friends. Everyone knew something was off but didn't realize how bad it had gotten. I've been open with a few others now. For accountability and to be able to talk about it.

5lb healthy losses. NSV. hiking the mizzy lake trail next weekend in Algonquin. 11km.

This is a different kind of victory. I admitted to a good friend that I've been struggling with fixation and not eating enough calories to try to spur a faster weight loss (all the while it making me crazy). She came with me to talk to someone last night and I'm going to get counselling to help me. Now I have to figure out…

Did a big 9km hike. And was able to do all the big hills! Was quite proud of myself.

I'm near Hamilton so I go on the red hill trail and splinter off from there. We so go up to rattlesnake point or mount nemo. We also go up to Algonquin quite often. We are going to Forks Of the Credit provincial park tomorrow, can't wait to see all the fall colours. Mizzy Lake Trail at Algonquin on the 22nd. I've always…

I'm on the other end of the spectrum of weight training. I've developed my core (not just abs) strength through yoga. My balance, posture and strength have all greatly improved. Not to mention definition.

Nowhere near done. 50lbs down quickly.

Click where it says progress and scroll down. Mine goes back all the way to when I joined.

It was hitting 50lbs down. Did that this morning. Now it's 60lbs down. Lol

Maybe you should do monthly weigh ins. You are going to have ups and downs. If you know you are doing everything right...focus on measurements vs. the scale.

Unless she means three packets? Lol

We don't know her starting weight. 5lbs is possible as a maintained weight loss in 10 days if she's obese. I lost way more than that. It's still coming off faster than "normal". But it's slowing. The problem is the expectation for that rate to continue. I blame biggest loser for that. Worst show ever on tv. Unrealistic…

The "advice" you get from others. How they did it last time. What I should change. Unneeded concern. I still have a lot of weight to lose, no I'm not almost done. Conversations I expect to have only with close friends but acquaintances feel perfectly comfortable having. Not being invisible. This is the uncomfortable one…

The first couple of weeks weight can fall off fast. But it's not fat loss, it food/water weight. I lost more than that the first week (I had about 130 to lose). It normalizes itself. It's not fair to assume she's starving herself and will continue. OP. That's only 600 calories. Make a few adjustments and you can still…

Bought non plus size jeans!!!! I was a 24w (and it was getting tight). Bought 18 regular at old navy yesterday. Going in the right direction!!!!

Biggest Loser was one of the worst shows ever to air on tv. It gave people expectations of losing 10lbs+ every week and had people crying when they "only" lost 5lbs. It was infuriating. And of course they didn't show how extreme it was and why so many put the weight back on after they didn't have Bob and Jillian screaming…
