Mmmm.... I'm going to make these today! :D ~bump~

Yay to students who not only WANT to be healthy, but who don't use the EXCUSE that they are students to not do it right! Make sure you hit your minimum daily net (1200) and drink lots of water, and you'll do great! :D

If it's working, then it's fine. Just keep going the way you're going! :)

It's 30 days and three levels. Makes sense that it should be 10 days per level. Although I've known people to take extra days and do it longer than 30 days if they couldn't handle moving up... But that's the program. 10 days of level 1, 10 of level 2 and 10 of level 3... 30 days To the OP: That's amazing! And, yes, very…

Every day is a new day... the longer your net is too low the more damage you are doing to your body. Honestly, it is best for your health, your body AND your metabolism to just start netting the 1200 you need to net. Also, you may lose the weight faster if you eat more than that... the closer you are to your goal (and…

You might gain initially, but that would just be your body not being used to being fed properly. You need to eat your 1200 NET and just hang in with it. Eventually your body will stabilize and figure out it isn't being starved anymore and it will do what you want it to. If you eat under the 1200 net you're risking your…

I thought I heard 300 cals per day added for pregnancy and 300-500 extra after the baby is born if you are breastfeeding... But you should consult your dr to find out for sure. :) Oh... and... CONGRATS!!! :D :D :D :flowerforyou:

much better! lol and GREAT work, girl! There really is a big difference! As much as I loathed doing it, I was glad I took before pics too! They make you feel so much better when you do comparisons... I've learned we've almost always come further than we think! :D

There's a recipe for cauliflower crust floating around somewhere... maybe you could try that?
-
Maybe it's just me... but those pics are WAY too big... I can only see like half of you in the befores and none of you in the afters... :/
-
Thank you everyone! This really was a huge one for me! :D

You need to be netting at least 1200 good healthy calories a day... which means eating you exercise cals back at least until your net reads 1200. If you aren't eating enough, it is just as bad as eating too much and can and will stall out your loss or cause you to gain. Also, make sure you're watching sodium and sugar…

I burn about 1600 a week... But really with kids and my job and everything else, that's really good for me... lol
-
I agree with the general consensus... take measurements and make sure you're eating enough. One of the biggest mistakes people on this site make is eating too little... which is really as bad as eating too much. If you aren't feeding your body properly it can freak your body out causing it to hang onto everything it…

I agree... if you hike DAILY, I'd set your activity level to VERY ACTIVE and only log exercise you might do above and beyond that. If you would rather log it, then, yeah, you need to at least NET 1200, however much you have to eat to get there. Net calories are the calories you eat minus your exercise calories... so say…

I'm allergic to mushrooms and shellfish... Doesn't really slow me down... I know what they do to me so it makes me not want them. lol

If you aren't NETTING 1200 or more (after exercise then you aren't eating enough and you won't lose...

3 levels, 30 days, 10 days per level. In a row. You should TRY level 2 on day 11 but if you can't handle it, there's no shame in giving level one a few more days before moving on. Same goes for moving from 2 to 3.
-
yes yes yes!!! It's the only way I lose... when I don't eat them back the loss hits a brick wall...

I find myself less likely to go on an all-out BINGE if I have a cheat meal or not so healthy dessert once in a while. I only do a MEAL, because I feel like if I did a whole day it might be harder to get with the program the next day. Today, for instance, I had a chocolate chip ice cream sandwich after lunch. Not something…

Lol! I know, right!? That's why I buy flowy stretchy dresses about a size smaller than I normally wear... it might not look super fantastic at first, but because of the style, you can go down a few sizes and still have it look pretty good! And congrats on the size 12! You'll be a 10 before you know it! :)

Mine aren't, but I'm on Ortho Tri-Cyclen and it's designed to regulate me, so...

I burn around 200 per workout...
-
LOL! That's funny! :D Keep up the great work!

if your net isn't reading over 1200 you're not eating enough, simple as that. I does sound stupid and counterproductive, but sometimes in order to lose more you need to eat more. I've experienced it firsthand so I know. If you aren't eating enough your body will freak out and hold onto EVERYTHING for fear of starving to…

When I'm drinking all of my water I'm in the bathroom about once and hour... sometimes more. Don't worry, it's normal. As long as it isn't interfering with and causing problems with your job, just keep doing what you're doing! If is IS causing problems with your job, maybe try to get your water in mostly before and after…
-
Yeah... it's that way with a lot of ppl... unfortunately, many don't listen and end up hurting themselves worse because they either eat below 1200 or right at it without eating exercise cals back claiming 'I lose weight better this way'. What they don't realize is that they're trashing their insides and eventually all that…

In the before pic I hadn't really been doing anything... the counting calories thing for a few weeks, but that's about it... The middle pic was right after round one of the 30 Day Shred and the third pic was taken last night... I had done a FEW of the shred workouts, but nowhere near regularly and I had started c25k... I'm…

Try eating around 1300-1400... give it a month at that count and see what happens... and make sure you're eating your exercise cals!
