You have to use Kohls card for discount and no receipt return, correct? If you return and total drops below $75, do they add in a cost for the shipping or is it still free? I know the make adjustments to remaining items if you used a dollars off coupon (a little money is applied off each item),

A lot of online resellers hit those stores daily to stock their shops. Timing is everything. Perhaps a Monday or Tuesday would be good after working people have dropped off their castoffs on the weekend. Fit to me is more important than brand name. Summer clothes seem to take more of a beating in my mind cause I live where…

I would think shorts would be relatively easy to find at thrift / Goodwill stores. Especially if you get down to the smallest sizes, 8, 10, 12 (or less) . A lot of small women shop/ buy a lot because they look good in their clothes and they can find so many appealing items. And they can find even tinier items cheap because…

Some people take their own food with them even so a social event at a home. Others look online and study menus and plan ahead if they can.

Agree.

I know what you mean.

Check out Overeaters Anonymous. Sounds like you are binging.

Some foods are bad for some people. Many people find they are addicted to sugar - just like alcoholics are addicted to alcohol. When your mind is constantly thinking about food, "training" it to think differently doesn't really cut it. One bite of sugar for some people and it's off to the races - like a drug addition, etc.…

Sounds interesting. I'll have to check it out.

"In the past." Things change as we get older. YoYo dieting also changes our metabolism. Loosing weight isn't a perfect science that will work exactly the same on every body at every age.

Some people just plateau for a while. Also, are you eating healthy calories? Agree with others - you need to weigh and measure each serving. Also, compare the info on the package to the database. Sometimes products change. Sometimes the information here is inaccurately entered. Double check everything the first time you…

Lots of people don't understand how you can you lose a bunch of weight and then put it back on. They think it's as simple as "you have a choice." Many of us are obsessed with food in our mind. Admitting we need help and that it's not as simple as "choice" is the first step.

Check out Overeaters Anonymous. Online meetings, podcasts, or go to a local meeting.

I'm curious why you consider his views questionable. He is an endocrinologist working with obese children, some as young as 2.5 years old. His work is based on science.

You can't control the answers you're going to get from a public forum. Ask your doctor or other professional if you only want to hear from "qualified" professionals. Here you take what you like and leave the rest.

All calories are not created equally. Check out the book Fat Chance written by an obesity expert who is not selling any thing. He also has videos on YouTube. Robert Lustig, MD.

Know Thyself. Age, eating history, metabolism, etc. can all play a role in our weight loss. I don't think there is one right answer.

Join a biking group. Or walking. Check out meetup.com. The social aspect motivates a lot of people. Since you used to exercise, any possibility you are depressed?

Check out Overeaters Anonymous. All have binged to some degree. Online meetings and podcasts as well as local meetings. Many benefit from the support.

Also double check the food as you log. Packages change and people don't always enter correctly.

Work on the habit of feeling like you have to have something to consume just because you are watching TV. In the mean time have water or plain hot tea. Find a flavor you like. But see if you can greatly reduce or eliminate this habit.

Unless your insurance requires a referral from your general practitioner, start asking around for an ortho. Then make that appointment. Even if you have to go to your gp. Ask around. So many doctors in groups that require them to refer to someone else in their group they might not even know. (Based on my own experience.)…

Cooking really helps. Soups, chilis are easy to make and take for lunch. Not sure what you need to eat or not eat, but nuts, fruits and veggies are easy to transport for snacks.

Egg salad, tuna salad, chicken salad using canned chicken. Soup, but read the can before you buy if you are watching sodium, etc. Or make your own soup or chili and take leftovers.

What if it turns out she has an undiagnosed illness and thinks she lost the weight solely because of dieting? Are they checked by doctors along the way?

If you go to a store and they insist you need the pricier shoe, step back and read some reviews online and see if others used the model shoes in the same way and were satisfied.

When I was having issues with walking shoes I switched to running at the advice of a random stranger at the shoe store who suggested they would absorb shock better when walking on hard pavement. I asked him because he looked more knowledgeable and experienced than the teenage clerk and I find they are great. For hiking I…

Perhaps a Chinese restaurant that does not have a buffet would be a better choice.
