I am 143. according to f2f, my goal weight is 125. is that considered a little? see now I'm still lost. if I eat 2000 calories a day, and log my exercises, then my net at the end of the day should be closer to 1700? or am I technically eating the exercise calories and netting 2000? sorry, I'm super confused and want to…

thanks for this. it makes more sense to me. So if I do plan on logging my exercises, then my NET at the end of the day should be my TDEE (or the calories allotted from the fat2fit calculator both are very close for me 2196 and 2083)

thanks :)My son is a boobie boy. He loves to nurse. I dont foresee him weaning anytime soon and I wont force him. Unless he gets to be like, 3 and still nursing, then we seriously need to do something lol

This may be stupid but I need clarification. If im moderately active and allotted 2000 calories, does that mean after minusing the execise calories, my net should be 2000? or will my net be 2000 less whatever I burned, so like 1700 or so? This "dont eat back yiur exercise calories" business confuses me.

I went no carb for awhile. I was tired all. the. time. yeah, I need me some bread, oatmeal and rice once in awhile.
-
yes! you are exclusively nursing and should include 500-700 more calories to keep your supply up. I logged BFing in my diary. For exclusively BFing it minuses 500 calories. I made sure to eat them back. I'm nursing a 15 mon old and still make sure I eat that extra 300 calories.

thanks. I thought I had it but just wanted to make sure. 2000 is an unbelievable amount of calories. I'm guessing the goal is to add calories but do it through healthy foods and good fats. Not catching that extra 500 cals from a Big Mac right? So my minimum net should be 1352? is that right?

I'm confused. Do I have this right? BF%: 30.2 GW: 125 BMR: Harris-Benedict 1423 Katch-McArde 1352 Moderately active (I am doing c25k 3x week, walk at home 3x, and some strength. I workout maybe anywhere from 20-40 a day, rest one day): 2077 Lightly active, if I'd be considered more lightly active: 1843 So I'm supposed to…

I finished week 2 today. And yes I thought i.was going to die during the first week. I learned I need to slow down a little. I don't need to run likes the other real runners on the path, who have beendoing it for a long time. I slowed down a little and it helped. Part of me startd thinking why the hell am I doing this to…

I need to come back to this and do the calculators later (when I'm on my desktop). I have done it before without using the BF%.

ditto

good luck! Pilates doesnt seem to be a huge calorie burner but I always feel it after. I just started weight training but I still do pilates to warm up. i love it!

What I learned is that even though the outside seems to be healed, the inside takes much longer. Remember, they cut through everything, fat, muscle, nerves. All those layers need to heal back together. I heal pretty quick too. With my 2nd, I had DS at 11:48 am and I was up and walking around by 5am the next day. I went…

hi mama. congrats. I've had 2 c-sections. You're not going to like my answer but here it is. I think it's still too early for you to be running, especially if your incision is tender. Doing too much too soon can rupture the internal stitches. With that said, for tummy, I do reverse crunches, leg lifts, you know, the basics…

you're welcome!

thanks. My only surgeries have been c-sections and I dont foresee me running anytime after if I have another one. I am considering the interactive one. Then I can add all my medical insurance info and everything and easily update my emergency contacts

team: teal! CW: 145.8 MGW: 137 yeah, more than 5 pounds, but some of that current weight is bloat from all the pizza and take out I ate yesterday. I was sooo bad. So if I stick to eating well, at least a few of those pounds will drop off like nothing. The rest, not so much

I just started this last week. Today was day 1 of week 2. Good luck to anyone doing it too! We can do it!
-
Awesome advice! Thanks!
-
Thanks. I'll keep pushing through it. I do think maybe I have been going too fast. I may slow down to more of a really light jog. I figure focus more on being able to breathe and my stamina. Once I can run for longer periods of time then I can work on going faster right?

I was wondering the same thing. I started c25k last week, and do it on mon, wed, fri. tues, thur, sat I do strength using resistance bands. I absolutely love pilates as well. I have some 10 Minute Solutions ones and I have been using it as a way to warm up before using the bands. I do 10 min full body pilates or stretch…

hi everyone! can't wait to start tomorrow. I really need to eat better. I have a question. Who is supposed to come up with the weekly challenge? Is it per group? like it will be posted here or on the main thread? also, how do you all log weight training? I just started using resistance bands (I bought them for hubby. he's…

Is anyone else not able to post on the group site? Am I doing something wrong? I'm in the teal team
