Ahh but do you know how many miles each pair has done? When I used to run I had less pairs but logged their mileage in a spreadsheet!

I use rolled oats with a splash of milk but main wet ingredient is Strawberry Skyr or Greek Yoghurt (sometimes add strawberry protein powder for the macros)...frozen or fresh berries on top and it's delicious. I don't like the texture when it's just milk or water as the wet ingredient - kind of slimy.

Kind of like a coke float then but not as scrummy! Do you have coke floats in the US? Wimpy here always used to sell them - basically long glass of coke with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Not had it in years...might change that this evening as it's so hot here right now.

My two keep me very busy. We also go to agility classes which is great fun for all three of us and challenges us both mentally and physically.

I don't eat before 10am or after 8pm and it has worked for me. I stopped logging and being so obsessed with counting calories and macros at the same time and haven't gained despite feeling more freedom with my diet which can feel a bit kind of scary/out of control. The reason it works for me is my personal times that I'll…

Just the man I hoped would reply (love your cheesecake)! Going to give it a try and will report back!

So to the cooks a question! We have a surplus of ripening bananas as current freezing weather in the UK keeping us off the golf course. Do you think a mashed up banana added in with perhaps some extra flour might make a banana bread type thingy??

I've been making my own this past month or so and it's easy as... Buy grains online, add to milk, put in glass jar and 24 hours later you have kefir. I did find the milk version was just too sour for my taste though. The shop bought much less so but not sure what they may have added/changed to make it have shelf-life and…

Planning to make these tomorrow - without the hole - protein rolls I guess :-)

I couldn't have worded that better myself. Making similar changes myself and cutting the ties to logging and weighing (me and food). I do actually think (hope) I'll eat better and make better choices and enjoy my food more with a more relaxed but mindful approach. Only started today though!

Bump for anyone who hasn't read and had the bonus of @stroutman81's advice and knowledge. Interested to read about those similar in build and age looking to give themselves a bit of a break. I'm thinking it's time to just relax just a little and stop being so controlled and striving for more/better. I'm sure an extra few…

Cheese and Peanut Butter. Sure I knew they were both calorific but when I saw how little equalled 100 calories :-(

To watch later - bumped!

Bread shouldn't be sweet for me. Otherwise anything very fresh with butter so thick you can see your teeth marks in it :-)

Parma Violets - why would anyone want to eat sweets that taste like perfume??

Another shout for Start Fitness.

That's really interesting. I gave up "added (ie not natural) sugar" for September just to try and curb my crazy sweet tooth. Overall I think it's reduced cravings hugely plus it's easier to keep a check on calories when I don't eat sweet stuff. I have felt all the symptoms you describe though and sweet cravings replaced by…

Are you making sure you apply appropriate tension to the tape?

I'm really into overnight oats at the moment. 40g oats, 20g Strawberry Protein Powder, 150g non fat Greek yoghurt and a splash of milk. Mix and leave in the fridge overnight then add some fresh berries in the morning or add some frozen berries on top the night before. Also add some Splenda for sweetness and very tasty and…

That tends to be my budget too. I like the Tesco ones and long term offer 2 for £2. Dolphin Fitness usually have some deals and just ordered some Power Bar Plus Minerals (Hazelnut Brittle - scrummy) 30 bars for £22.95 and CNP Pro Flapjack (Cherry Almond - think Mr Kipling Bakewell Tart) at 24 for £14.95. Free economy…

Flipping heck - dizziness...never connected that one with peri and wondered why I turn around once and all but fall over! Great post - my hot flushes at night have become an issue so starting Black Cohosh and hoping for some relief. I guess the upside is it's winter BUT usually get really cold once the flush calms down.

Here's our rescue Labs Barley and Daisy - Barley is 6 and Daisy just 7 months. Both are just great dogs and Barley and I do some agility together which is great fun and he's amazing at it. Here in the UK it isn't often too hot to walk although Daisy being a pup is on limited walks whilst she grows.

I play real golf...not sure that helps though :-)

I use a Julienne Peeler and works fine - no chopped fingers (yet)!

Is that cute as cute puppy yours?? Gorgeous!

Brilliant :-)

Kind of two small split lunges to a squat. They demonstrate on the video which is useful. I'd be surprised if it wasn't 10 cals per minute so 170 or so...

I did it - tough but good fun!!

Keep going and you will get there and surprise yourself. I spent most of my life not being able to do a full push up, no way no how. Some years back we decided to lose some weight and get fitter so bought an exercise video called The Y Plan. It had push ups from knees and gradually progressed so you moved more and more…
