+1, I've only ever known one person who is legitimately intolerant to gluten. Everyone else is like "I eat bread at times and I get full. I have celiac's !!11!"

While I think it's a good idea for restaurants to include nutritional info, it COULD get expensive. If it's required by federal law, they may have to pay nutritionists to do it. What if the owner/ whoever sat down wasn't accurate? If they took this to a state level, then try would have to mark sure it's done right,…

I fully agree! I think it's better to have 1 or 2 of something you're really wanting than to overindulge on a fake. I've tried to find subs too many times and I'd finish it off, hoping it would start to taste more like the real thing...it doesn't get better. Its more humbling, imo, to be able to look back and see you were…

Seems to make sense to me! Would you mind if I added you? You've been a lot of help!

Thank you everyone :) I'll keep it in mind

I think today I will aim for the 1280 until I get the advice. Meanwhile I will hope someone replies to this thread.

Bump! Sorry, I'm seeking answers lol

Thank you! I'm getting very conflicting results though. Scoobysworkshop told me that my bmr is 1254, my TDEE is 1944 and then it said "Daily calories based on goal in step 6 : 1749" which number do I eat?!
-
It told me I only need 1280?
-
Thank you! Yeah, I'm in the "little as possible" mindset :/
-
Thank you everyone! It makes me feel better. 10% was mentioned, and I think that will be good. I'm not sure how much I really should be eating, so I will look into that. Would it be 10% less than maintenance?

In middle school I was definitely one of the slowest kids...but you know what? Now I'm up on Sundays running 8 miles while they sleep, plus daily gym time. It's okay if im not the quickest! I get it done :glasses: and I've got good endurance!

Can't believe the title says "foo":explode:

I don't know, man, my mom's been 190+ since she was like 30. She's 5'3" and she sure doesn't look like the OP...

Agreed, dove was one of the other companies I had in mind as I wrote this thread

Peanut butter and jelly are the cutesy high school sweet heart couple.... ...but chocolate is peanut butter's hot sweet love affair. And I have a hard time figuring out which is my OTP

I agree with you. And when I question it, saying "is it as healthy as it touts?", that was my attempt at a Segway to saying that I felt it was a healthy choice, but not healthy for the mind (because of the slogan). The cereal itself is delightful and I'm sure they're plenty of benefits to eating it
-
I will agree that the amount of effort that I've put behind creating this thread is probably unnecessary, but I hate to see people buying into that type of campaign
-
Sure they're healthy, but I feel their slogan doesn't promote body acceptance
-
I think that's actually a pretty spot-on equivalent.
-
I'm sorry to hear that, and I'm sorry you're feeling upset :( but at least you had the mindset to even try at all! Simply getting up and trying is the first step to success. If you can work yourself back up to it, I think you'll be doing it in no time. Try not to feel discouraged.

:drinker: What an accomplishment! Congrats! Enjoy running, and continue to be awesome. 30 seconds is a lot

Allison Posting because Angie isn't my real name ;) give it a go!

You've probably never tasted the salted caramel chocate tarts from my work then. Why can't we enjoy tasty things and still be/feel skinny? Sincerely, A girl who has maintained the same weight since September and rarely skips dessert

I gave up sugar for a few weeks last year. I too am a sugar addict! The first few days actually weren't that bad for me, but I imagine it's different with everyone. I didn't eat fruit for a while, but that was just coincidental. I still ate yogurt, but I gave up the cakes and cookies I loved. I didn't feel very different,…
