  • And that fat knight, Sir Cumference.

  • Love it. Now I want to do all ground beef. One step at a time.
  • Honestly, I make my pork belly into chicharrones. I don't like pork rinds all that much at all. I can recommend chicharrones with guac and cheese though. Delicious.
  • Brie is delicious, don't give up the brie. I survive pretty much on brie and meat.
  • So, I've stuck with AAA. Today got on the scale and gained extra 2 lb, which I am taking as a gentle reminder to quit eating so much (I've been consistently going over calories, and not running off the extras due to a knee injury). I think I am going to stick to AAA. It is easier and more convenient for me, it makes sense,…
  • So, as a quick update, I stayed ZC. Pretty happy with it, so I'm sticking with it. It's been about 2 weeks, let's see how the month is gotta go.
  • 1. Vodka and diet. 2. Your alcohol tolerance may disappear, and watch for hangovers from hell.

  • pretty sure its the lack of nutrients, but hey, try it maybe? My diet is meat plus fish plus egg plus cheese, so at the moment pretty heavy on cheese.
  • Yep. except mine is usually a 5-10 lb rise. It's water, I can see it in my face and body too. My face and lower belly gets bloated, and my hands and feet swell. That's why I only weight myself twice a month, the week after my period is gone and the week after that.
  • @PaleoInScotland you said what I was thinking, and here I thought I was the only person on this generally very PG-rated forum (not G because mild poop content) who had a dirty mind. I know better now. Thank you.
  • Omg, lol at the collection of judge-y faces. I'm saving them for the next time I want to cheat.
  • People tell me that moderation nonsense, and I ask them if they would say the same thing to an alcoholic. Sugar is an addiction.
  • I was paleo before I transitioned to primal keto (got rid of fruit and starchy veg). Now I am going the ZC route.
  • I don't trust or like doctors, so I tell them as little as possible. In general, I avoid going to see them at all costs, so it works out for me. Everyone else who asks, I tell I've cut down on sugar and processed food.
  • I got so much going on I can't have another thing stressing me out right now. That said, I'm actually sure I will stay 99% AAA, just because it's actually more convenient for me. I just don't want to worry about it more then I have to, or wonder if ceviche is AAA enough or not. So I gotcha! But yeah, I'm loving it, and my…
  • Day 3 of all meat. I love it. I don't miss veggies at all. However, I have sugar cravings from hell because shark week, so today I learned they are easily killed by buttery steak. If this continues as good as its been these last few days, I may be switching to ZC for good.
  • Wish I could help, but never happened to me. Maybe if you slow down, hold your mouth closed and breathe through your nose?
  • @glossbones , thanks! I appreciate it. This challenge should be fun!
  • Guys, remember those size 4 pants I was posting about a few months ago? I bought them as semi-goal pants (they fit but where snug). Guess what's not snug anymore... I had to double-check if I put the right size pants on in the morning. This is super motivating, btw. The week of the shark is coming, and I want to eat…

  • @glossbones , since I am running this on trial bases, I will not even try tracking anything but how I feel. My parents are coming to town for a week and I work this weekend (hurrah for 14-day work weeks), so I don't want to over-limit myself. If the next 5 days goes well, I will be jumping right back into it once family…
  • So I jumped in yesterday, meat, cheese, plants in spice form only (and coconut oil), fish, eggs. Right now I am aiming for 5 days.
  • But it's so much fun.
  • Tomatoes. If I don't kill them. I have a wicked brown thumb.
  • I'm on the 'I hate PF' bandwagon. I may not look like a dedicated gym rat, but I've been consistently in the gym since 2001, and places like PF are completely inadequate. I also don't think any gym should have a free pizza/bagel/any junk food day. When I just started just the smell of that pizza would've been a major binge…
  • That guy is into carb cycling, isn't he? I'm not the biggest fan of that concept.
  • Bwahahaha. Also type A. Also have major problems with grains, but also am blessed with a robust immune system. So nope.
  • Hey, I started using their workout app (BodySpace) to track my routine. They're pretty awesome as a tracker, though not as social as Fitocracy. Same handle as on here, if you're on there, I could use some friends!
  • Weights and intense workouts get me really hungry. Long, slow runs kill my appetite for hours. I try to eat an extra 100-300 calories if I do something crazy like run for hour and a half, but for anything shorter I don't bother eating back the calories.
  • I run 4-6 times a week between 3-10 miles. I'm one of those strange folks that really, really enjoys running. I used to go to the gym more often (weights are my first love, fitness-wise), but I fell off that wagon for a bit, so I am looking forward to getting back to lifting some heavy iron tonight. Other than that,…
  • I'm gonna jump on all-animal April, but only for a week - have family coming in to town the second weekend of April, and it's tough enough explaining why I don't eat fruit. The no sweetner thing will be my biggest hurdle, but if I can do it for a week, then I'll be able to do it for longer in May.
