I looooove Industrial and metal, also some punk, goth, and death rock. Feel free to add me. I'm also an intermittent faster.

Congratulations!! That's really awesome!

I suppose I am a pear-shape, but my hip measurements are not that big- I guess I don't know where to measure? My butt and thighs hold everything.

The whole time I was reading this I was thinking "This sounds like enabling, not sabotage". My family has a history of addictive disorders- drinking, drugs, gambling, and yes, binge eating. I remember as a kid thinking that terrible "too full" feeling was the best feeling ever, because it releases dopamine. I wasn't…

My general rule of thumb is this: A school, work, otherwise public experience holding the expectation of ME praying- no. Absolutely not. When I was going through CNA training and Surgical Tech training I encountered this A LOT, and I do not feel obligated to participate in religious activities with people who I happen to be…

Congrats on coming back to mfp!

Really, anyone feel free to add me!

I talk to my husband about m f p and he's really supportive. He's a foot taller, 7 years older, and a dude- he's happy that I have support from people from all walks of life that have something in common with me and my goals.

Anyone, feel free to add me! I have about 60lbs to lose.

My brother's wife neurotically removes a few yolks whenever she does anything with eggs, and it usually involves a TON of cheese (she's vegetarian), even when we beg after she asks. Because she always asks if she should. And she does anyway.

Anyone wanting support can add me. I really try to log every day... especially now that I've figured out how to add food after it's past midnight :p

Most of my problems are not caused by excess weight, but definitely exacerbated. The only one that I notice going completely away at a healthy weight are attacks of hypoglycemia... I was diagnosed around the time I started packing on the weight pretty heavy again, and I don't get the shakes even on mini-fast (5:2) days.…

This is not uncommon. Discover magazine had an article by an evolutionary biologist who theorizes it's an adaptation early humans developed in order to be more sensitive to meat during pregnancy to avoid sicknesses caused by meat that hasn't been preserved or anything.

Wow, lots of the clothes experience! That's my story, too. I injured my back and stopped running, after losing 40lbs the first time...my pants started getting tight by spring, and I normally spend spring and summer in skirts in dresses... come fall, NONE of my pants fit, and looking at myself in the mirror at the store…

Maybe diversify your flavors? Try adding a bit of sweet like cranberries or lingonberries to meat; there are lots of fruity tasting yogurts that are inexpensive, low in carbs, and high in protein. Also, nuts and seeds if you like them.

I really like stability ball exercises and mini-trampoline... although mostly I just jog on the trampoline because I live in a basement apartment with probably a 6'6" ceiling.

A friend of mine makes a warm smoothie with almond or coconut milk, flax seed and/or nuts,a banana and cinnamon and cardimum. Just heat up the almond/coconut milk before blending.

Yeah, also curious! What great work you've done!

Why does work have to ruin things? I also lost and regained about 40+ lbs because I was working full time and going to school full time.

Also, from what you described, I bet you could get a doctor to prescribe you physical therapy. A good one will have you set for a long time with home exercises.

Try this easy stuff :) Microwave veggi chips that are way easy, healthy, and waaaaay less expensive than buying at the health food store. http://lukespook.hubpages.com/hub/How-to-make-vegetable-chips Also, fruit. Good luck!

There are exercises! I have had back issues my whole life. If you're wiling to shell out some cash, get a Yoga ball so you can do modified bridges, arm/leg alternating lifts, and whatever the lady in this picture is doing http://www.spine-health.com/treatment/physical-therapy/exercise-ball-therapy-lower-back-pain-relief…

Goat anything! Super tasty, lean, and environmentally ethical.

I read a study in Prevention Magazine that said you burn more calories if you work out before you eat breakfast. I also will go to the gym on coffee alone and feel not at all ravenous for food after, even after a vigorous workout. I eat when I'm hungry and not based on speculation of when my body will need energy.

Preserved duck eggs, Asian pickled veggies, kim-chi, saurkraut, and beef tongue are some of my favorites (through the pickled stuff tends to have a lot of salt).

My Driver's licence (guessed by a woman) is 165, but my state ID (guessed by a dude) says 125.... I have NEVER in my adult life been below 135, but I also hope to make myself honest haha.

I did this the first time I lost weight, and it didn't help me... it only lead to anxiety attacks and discouragement, and sometimes depression/guilt eating. Now I only check my weight once or twice a week, at the gym, or generally away from my home. I have a scale, but it stays in the closet for the most part.

I was going to school in Austria at the time that came out- having lived with high quality food for four months in an extremely pedestrian friendly city I was devastated to hear about that monstrosity. You don't have to be fat to make something off of which you can make millions selling to fat people.

I have discovered that buffalo wings are not only one of my favorite foods, but are also an easy option when I eat fast food/ restaurant food that have a lot of protein and aren't too calorie heavy. The spicier the better IMO; studies show that eating spicy food can help you eat slower, unfortunately for me this isn't the…
