To gain 10 actual lbs I believe you would have had to eat about 33,000 calories. What you are experiencing is probably water weight. Have you done any drastic changes in your exercising? Like lifting weights?

I am the same way! I think it is our motivation to push ourselves and see how far we can actually go. I just ran 2.5km tonight, the most I have ever ran at once nonstop (I am 249lbs). Start off with a comftorable number and just work your way up a few times a week. I started off doing 15 minutes at a time and each week go up 5 minutes. BTW, nice owl in the picture. Are u a falconer? :)

I used to work out with my friend but it was a terrible idea. My friend would go so slow and would rather chit chat and not focus on exercising. He seemed never as interested in exercising as I was, either. He wanted to be done everything at the gym in like 25 minutes. -___-

Every day, every meal I have the urge to binge and eat everything in sight. Just gotta tell yourself to get some control and listen to your head and not your stomach.. you can do it.. good luck..

I did a juice fast for 3 weeks and did not have rotting teeth, thinning hair, or anything of that sort. My skin was actually looking very nice and healthy, and I felt really healthy. I wouldn't do it again because its not sustainable but I find articles like these rubbish.. its all to scare the reader.

I am always watching other people working out. I don't do it to be a creep or anything -- there are at least 50 different machines at my gym and I only know how to use about 10 of them. No one will care or pay any attention. Honestly, its much harder when you went to a gym and then quit it and put on a lot of weight and then go back and see the same people who are much fitter and I am in worse health. Now that was embaressing!

I tell myself everyday that I will never get that body I want if I don't work hard for it. I have to want it to get it!

I used to use the scale everyday but would become disheartened and unmotivated when I would see the number would go up, so now its once every few weeks.

this is how I feel as well. I don't count calories, I don't eat crap, I just eat small healthy meals 5x a day and the weight is coming off. Granted I am still 253 lbs and have to get to 195ish, but I hope it will continue if I keep doing what I am doing.

Well I hope I am not in starvation mode I lose about 1.5 lbs a week and exercise daily. Dont count my calories. Just praying I am eating enough but I eat about 5 small meals a day..

I was 100% vegan for quite a while. My mind was so clear and felt great.. but I went back to eating normal. Parents are buying my food right now and I don't want to be picky with them since they are big meat eaters.

It happens to us all from time to time. I ordered a pizza from the local store the other day because they were having a sale and I ate the whole pizza *sigh*.. thankfully I still lost weight lol

I don't find it too intimidating. I think the best thing to do is to just focus on say 3 or 4 machines at a time and rotate. I hate when people come into the weights area and they jump from machine to machine and then 15 machines later they are all dirty. When people see you are serious about it they take you serious :)
