I'm personally hooked on Stronglifts 5x5. At first it seemed almost a bit too easy, but after a couple of weeks it gets really challenging. The idea is that you lift weights three times a week. Try eating more. 1200 calories is very little especially for man, so you might lose more weight by adding more calories to your diet. If you haven't done any strength training yet I would recommend you to do so. It helps you maintain and possibly add muscle, which in return makes you burn more calories.
