You're going to need to drop your body fat % if you want to have visible abs. Just keep doing what you're doing and keep track of your measurements.

It's not about what you're eating, it's about how you feel about how much you are eating. Even if you eat enough to be physically full, you have grown up in an environment that encourages over eating and thus you may not mentally recognize it. If you consistently over ate before counting calories, your "full" might…

I would try eating slowly and evaluating how you feel. With the terrible amount of portion distortion present in the American (and other developed nations) diet, your "full" feeling might actually be an "over-stuffed" feeling.

To me it sounds like you need to get yourself a HRM. Although it wouldn't be useful for your HIIT training, wearing it during your Zumba and Spinning classes would be a great way to get a feel for your base calorie burn.

In order to quickly and easily switch between "heavy" and "light" exercise days, I just use a personalized recipe that only has calories and no nutrients; I call it my "Off Day Adjustment." That being said, a 50 calorie burn for a workout is really low. I bet I'm smaller than you (and therefore burn less calories) and I…

I agree with IsaackGMOON; at 1200 calories a day, you should be eating your exercise calories back. Right now you're probably taking in as many calories as a those consumed by people participating in a starvation study.

Good? It's delicious!

Coffee shouldn't affect your weight loss as long as you're not adding creamer or other enhancers. Caffeine has been shown to increase your metabolic rate and repress hunger when drank in large quantities, although only by a negligible amount.

Personally, I would eat back more. The "only eat half your exercise calories" tip is really more for people only going by what MFP or a gym machine tells them, not for people using a HRM. Yes, HRMs can be a little off if you're not doing steady state cardio, but they're not 50% off. For example: if I burn 500 calories…

Harney & Sons is a good tea company. I've liked almost every tea I've tried from them and for the quality of their tea they have good prices.

5'6" maintaining at about 120 to 123.

If you have a very active job then 1235 seems kind of low. What are your stats? Sex, weight, height, etc.

Greek Yogurt is packed with protein. I usually eat half a serving and that alone has 11 grams.
-
I'm a little in love with you right now.

There is no magic formula that will allow you to stop exercising and continue eating as if you do. Human beings are meant to be able to literally run their prey to death, we are not supposed to sit on our butts all day.

1440 sounds about right. Good luck!

I think it really depends on how many calories you're burning during exercise. Right now, your TDEE at sedentary is about 1,581 to 1,600 calories, which means you're eating pretty close to your TDEE. That means that if you were to eat 1615 calories a day, your only significant caloric deficit is going to come from your…

At my gym there is this guy who comes in every Friday with blue jeans, boots and a cowboy hat on. He does is routine, tips his hat to the ladies and then swaggers off to do whatever it is gym cowboys do when they're not working out. He is, by far, the best part of my Friday afternoon workout.

Although I do think 112 at 5"4 is low, 119 seems about right for someone of that height. I'm 5"6, 123 lbs and I do not look underweight.

Is your cross-fit like workout focused on cardio or weight lifting? I've seen a lot of different "cross-fit" workouts and they seem to vary wildly.

Mine does this sometimes too. I usually just re-edit the recipe, save it and then log it from the "my recipes" tab. This usually fixes the problem.

How long has your weight loss been stalled?
-
Seven days is too short a time to see results. You need to give it more time.
-
I do Les Mills Combat 7 days a week. It's supper fun and doesn't require much space.
-
Twenty-four and log every day. Feel free to add me!

@pechepanda Love the glasses!

Does it tell you how many grams is supposed to be in 3/4 cup?
-
19.69 to 19.77. Not much of a shocker. Anyone of average height isn't going to see much of a change.

What's your goal weight?

I don't think Americans are "afraid to be thin" as you put it. I think they live in a society that encourages an over indulgence of high calorie, low nutrient food. This, along with the increasingly sedentary life most people lead and their general lack of nutritional knowledge makes it hard for them to lose weight and…
