  • @Versicolour haven’t read Jeff Wheeler. Terry Pratchett is a yes from me, however I’m not one of those OMG it’s THE BEST EVER type of fans. I read, I enjoyed, the end. In time before the smart phone I read a lot. Like a book a day kind of a lot. So unless something really really really spoke to me I don’t really know who…
  • Book. I like to imagine the stuff. However, I do like crappy no need to think movies and I also like 'weird' cultish movies too. But overall books. The book is always better than the movie except for LOTR. In that case, the movies are better as they don't put you to sleep. And I AM a fantasy lover, just not the LOTR books.
  • Alone. dislike crowds. unless it's like a concert or something. but I prefer less people around. Like i hate crowded beaches. or shopping malls BLEH
  • outdoors for sure. but gym indoors.
  • Coffee. One per day when I wake up. Plain black, no sugar, but in the last month been adding a scoop of gelatin to it.
  • yas! but in moderation. i find that if i eat bacon too often for prolonged periods of time, i start to get a reaction in my mouth - probably from all the crap they coat it in (as in sulphites etc)
  • oh wow... hmmm. Dancing?
  • deadlifts - fruit - bike - rowing - arm day - dumbbells... only just. this one is the hardest one to choose - box jumps - sled - med balls.
  • Get vegan protein powder maybe? I can't use whey it upsets my stomach, but I use vegan protein and it's fine. Other than that, I can't really comment as I have no idea if nursing makes you hungry or anything. I tried to breastfeed but had no milk. I took double dose of motilium and would have to eat A LOT to get a tiny bit…
  • Depending on the person and their approach, some now don't do 'peak week' - they say that if you're not "at your peak" as you put it above, in the last week then they're not ready for the stage anyway, so no water or carb manipulation. At least with bikini girls anyway. Others do the whole lot. carb depletion, carb…
  • welcome! :)

  • Free pizza at the gym is just MEAN! What the hell are they thinking? Other than that - you look lovely! And everyone else has already said great stuff about not beating yourself up and start again tomorrow etc etc. I concur with all of that. You are def not alone with having a *kitten* relationship with food. Lots of us…
  • hm. sounds like weight loss is the least of your worries at the moment. Getting your guts fixed would be the best bet. I won't opine much on this as I have non-traditional views, but from personal experience suffering from IBS in the past, it got fixed by a natural therapist rather than the traditional Western specialist…
  • Have you looked at the nerd fitness site? MIght appeal to your gamer side. I love your Judgy Cat. I have 2 who judge me, but I don't let it get to me. Other than that, agreed with all of the above. Don't do what you don't want to do, no need to lift if you don't like it (but it DOES have health benefits such as bone…
  • Could it be related to the food you eat? What do you eat?
  • I feel it was done on purpose to flush out all of us grammar/spelling OCD/aficionados who wouldn't be able to "ignor" this.
  • This. If you are serious about gaining muscle, first step would be actually learning to lift properly. A trainer or coach will help you. A gym trainer just with the actual how to - a coach will also give you your macros breakdown etc etc. And I agree with lift like a man LOL
  • @NorthCascades thanks! So yeah - most normal people would not be able to eat 4kg of spinach a day LOL! Therefore - no need to ban spinach.
  • Didn't you already ask this question? Or was it someone else? Exact same question was asked and same answers given. Possible - yes, barely Probable - no, not likely Healthy? No. Scam? Kind of, yes!
  • Interesting - however - doens't explain anything like exactly HOW MUCH ecdysterone were the athletes given? I mean, if I eat a 120g bag of spinach a day (which happens often) will I get the magical performance booster that these athletes had? I doubt it.
  • Why do you need a meal plan? Is it just because it's easier for you to know what to eat each day? What you can do, it does take a little bit of time and effort, is to work out a few options for each meal and then just eat the one you feel like on each day. For example, I have about 4 go-to breakfasts that all come to…
  • Oh, but by the way - the ones who ARE involved in nutrition and looking at diaries and all that jazz - they cost a lot more than the ones you hire at the gym.
  • Depends what you want. My first coach/PT when I started out provided me with nutrition plan (plus education around the food, not just "shut up and eat this and don't ask me questions just do it") as well as an exercise plan. We also had 1:1 sessions for check ins and for her to show me how to do the stuff on the plan. So…
  • I don't get why this hasn't been addressed yet by The Powers That Be. it's ALWAYS causing confusion and then someone has to link to the explanation of what is woo. I used to think it was woohoo too, especially because it comes between like and hug - so obviously, if it's between like and hug, it MUST mean WOOHOO, right? I…
  • high quantities of foods! all the foods. and what @psuLemon said. On the very odd occasion that I am full already from eating whole foods but need to make up calories at the end of the day, you can see me with the box of cheerios eating purely to make up calories. easier to eat "crap" than it is to eat whole foods…
  • the problem is that healthy choices a lot of the times means high calories. Eg - friend of mine was trying to lose weight got a "healthy banana bread" recipe from some nutritionist person. I ate some and was thinking - *kitten*, this thing is a calorie bomb, as she told me the ingredients and proceeded to eat half the…
  • Actually my butt is something that i'm now working one side more than the other because one side is so much weaker than the other that it's becoming obvious that one side is bigger than the other. So yeah. extra reps on the weak butt cheek!
  • yep. all my bits have one side bigger than the other. normal.
  • I know a few people who have had it. Only ONE has kept it off. Actually she is even thinner now than she was when we were teenagers. The other two - one has put on even more back on and he is gigantic and the other looks the same as she did before the surgery now. She did lose some at first, but would still have been…
