I currently do 50/30/20

Eating well (I choose to eat more primal/paleo, but whatever works for someone!) and a combination of walking, running, and burpees lol.

Thanks everyone!

Same here. I have zero issues with dairy and it's in my diet daily.

I've never heard someone say Planet Fitness is too expensive...how much is it where you are? Their prices are usually $10 per month for the basic amenities, no contract. Or $20 if you want all the extra stuff, and that is a contract. OP: Personally I have two gym memberships. One to my local gym and one to a Planet…

First with what you need, I would definitely get wraps and learn to properly wrap your hands. It is completely possible to bruise and even fracture your hand otherwise, and I know this from personal experience sadly. I would then look into finding out proper boxing techniques, there are actually some decent youtube videos…

I chose my initial goal weight on my pre-pregnancy weight with my youngest. I'm 5'5 and I was 130 pounds. Long term goal wise I would like to be around 120. I chose that goal weight because it is the weight I was at when I felt my most healthy and vibrant. If I get to a weight and I feel happy and healthy -- I'll stay…

The larger size with a belt :). I do this for my job and it's been working great. I would tailor them, but honestly my hope isn't to stay at this size long enough to justify it :P

Just throwing this little thought here...I get super annoyed with how they are called Beachbody coaches, which makes it sound like they have some kind of nutrition or fitness training. Not that some don't, but the majority of them do not and even though most of us realize they are basically just independent…

Having the same issue, but I'm training for a Spartan in March and so I really need out of this funk!!
-
Personally I have tailored things according to how often they were nursing. 500 extra if they were exclusively nursing, 300-500 extra once solids were introduced, and now after nursing for two years I don't really eat anything extra and things are fine...but he also only nurses once per day, sometimes only once every few…

Yes.

Oh no you're totally fine! If I remember correctly I even sent you a friend request and thanked you for your post :). I appreciated it, no worries!

I do have other goals :) In fact I am working on completing a Spartan Trifecta in 2014 :). As I said to someone above, "It's deciding to eat a different way than I was previously got me worried because as many stories as I've read about losing weight and being healthy eating this way, I've heard just as many stories about…

I wasn't saying that was the actual cause, I was saying I was fearing it was the cause because it was the only thing in my daily routine that had changed. Also, I was eating at a deficit and yet still seemed to be not losing anymore. Looking back I know that it's because it's right before "that time of the month," but at…

Yep, I was personally going to mention indigo and crystal children :)
-
Also OP I see from your profile that you're a female...you should join the Spartan Chicked group on facebook :)

I do not, but I'm getting it for Christmas (shhh, I know secrets!) but I do have a friend with it so I may look into that :) It's not. At all. I love trying out of the box recipes and new odd things...so when I saw it I figured "what the heck, I'll do it" NO. Just no. Jerky blasphemy. BLAAASPHEMY!

This! Sometimes 3/4 of my plate is full of veggies (less than 100 calories) and then my small portion of meat may be 200 calories or more even though it's the smallest part of the plate :)

I'm in the "not very accurate, but motivates me" camp. In fact, it was me going over about 1200 calories one day and seeing that number pop up (as four more pounds than I already weighed) that motivated me to really buckle down and keep track of everything and start pushing myself.
-
Not necessarily a regret, but I did eat over half of my days calories in buffalo wings yesterday at lunch haha. And yes I logged it, I log EVERYTHING.
-
As an "ex-cheater" I agree with this whole heartedly.

This is what I had thought about when I made my comment. Having a preference and saying something is a "deal breaker" are different. I have the *preference* of liking guys with green eyes, but if someone doesn't have green eyes it's not a deal breaker. (Not saying I actually give a crap about eye color haha, just giving an…

Haven't read comments, just responding to OP I'm 5'5 and the shortest guy I ever dated was 5'4. I'm married now so it's not like I'm dating, but when I was I wouldn't NOT date someone because of their height...I can't imagine finding someone amazing and basically saying, "Nope sorry, you're too short to ride this ride." Do…

Just saw this on Facebook:

Exactly.

Yea we don't do elf on the shelf. One, they are super creepy and the thought of something (no matter if it's real or not!) "watching" my children irks me, and I don't like that s/he "reports back to Santa". I've also felt it is this competitive thing between moms to create the biggest scenarios...and I'm just not into the…

Holy crap -- butter and sriracha?? That sounds amazing. I will definitely be doing that tomorrow!! I also have done the kale chips, love it!
-
IDK if what he's talking about is the same as what I do -- but I commonly put a mix of chorizo spices on mine :). It's TASTY.
-
Oh my god YES! (I'm assuming you mean a mix of chorizo spices, but that's what I get for assuming) Airpopper then add in my typical toppings (always added after some grassfed butter): * Taco seasoning mix or Chorizo spice mix * Parmesan & garlic (has to be grated parm, which I usually forget to buy...I prefer shaved) *…
