  • I'm a 911 dispatcher with 12 hour rotating day/night shifts. I log all food in 24 hour cycles so it is easier to keep track of. I only eat what I bring to work, but I do keep healthy snacks like popcorn, cheerios and applesauce at work just in case. My shift eats out on nearly every shift so I have to be careful not to get…
  • that was a real eye opener!
  • I love Aldi too! I actually shop there first before I hit the Walmart (for things that Aldi doesn't carry) and Publix (for those awesome BOGO sales!) I used to buy their ground turkey, but since the recall they have a new brand that isn't their own and it's really weird tasting to me. I like the fit and active ground beef…
  • Do you have a crock pot? you can make some great soups with lots of veggies and lean meat and eat that the rest of the week. the only prep you have to do is to cut vegetables, and the crock pot with make it for you!
  • okay...tasted the first one...delicious! not overly pumpkiny but i am glad i added the additional spices. the chocolate in it is good also. next time i might add some more pumpkin...but some of these are headed to the freezer as there is no way i am going to eat 23 more cupcakes in the next week. i think it will be good…
  • i read this thread earlier...and then remembered I had some leftover pumpkin in the fridge from the pancakes I made last week...so I used: 1 box yellow cake mix 2 eggs 1 cup water 1 cup pumpkin cloves, ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon and some vanilla 3 tbs toll house mini morsels so far for 24 that is 105 calories. i wonder what…
  • pb2 is the most amazing thing i have ever eaten. 45 calories for 2 tablespoons. add a little water and it is delicious!! i went to georgia and bought soooo many jars i don't have room for them all but I don't care i will sleep with them if I have to! it is a little pricey, at about $3.99 a jar, but well worth the price.…
  • maybe some whole wheat ritz crackers?
  • ice cream...ok dessert in general. publix has had TWO sales in a row of buy one get one free weight watchers ice cream...so you know my second freezer is full of that! lol i eat pretty decently but girl's gotta have her dessert ya know..
  • i'm making stir fry! (again lol) 12 oz chicken breast, matchstick carrots, onions, mushrooms, garlic, broccoli. i use a sauce mix from walmart. it makes 2 servings at about 430 cals each. and you have leftovers for lunch tomorrow! it is a little high in sodium...but still delicious. i don't know what you have in your…
  • unless you have it with the dressings! OMG the dressings...they drench it in that stuff! get it on the side! other than that the salads are good, they just got an ahi tuna salad that i did not care for but is getting rave reviews.
  • chicken stir fry: chicken, mushrooms, matchstick carrots, onion, broccoli, garlic. om nom nom!
  • I do this too! I thought I was weird. I usually plan the night before, so in case I want a treat I know what else I can eat. I leave a little wiggle room at the end just in case :) It also helps me eat fruit and veggies before they go bad, and use up leftovers. I used to forget I had things all the time and I was wasting…
  • baby carrots fiber one yogurt bran flakes i could seriously eat bran flakes for every meal. and with the fiber one yogurt i know i'm getting enough fiber! lol
  • i work there and i don't think i could get that information lol. i can tell you that it is a bean based patty, also some carrots, onions and some assorted vegetables. they use bread crumbs and eggs as a binder. so i maybe you can guesstimate from that? i wish more restaurants would post their nutritional information. mine…
  • Ugh i bought this crap too thinking it would be AMAZING and INCREDIBLE and will totally SAVE me calories! How wrong I was. I really wanted to like it too! The texture is weird and it tastes like science-y processed fluff. But I paid almost $4 for the jar at walmart, and now I feel like I need to eat it anyway just not to…
  • i bought a food dehydrator for around $20...so for a small investment you can make your own dried fruits and a lot less added "crap" than store bought ones would. it's also going to be strawberry season here in florida, so i can get strawberries for cheap really soon :)
  • i would go for the lower sodium option. you can always eat less calories at another meal, or consider it a treat since it is for a special occasion. the extra sodium is not worth saving 150 calories.
  • I also live in Orlando...99% of the quick service restaurants carry healthier options, such as yogurt, fruit, vegetables etc. If you are the Dining Plan, you can use those as your snack. I work at a restaurant at Downtown Disney, and if you have any special dietary requirements, a chef will come to your table and discuss…
  • set small goals for yourself. say, after 10 lbs gone get a mini non-food reward, like a new book, or workout clothes, or something you've wanted to awhile but couldn't justify purchasing :) or get something you and your gf can enjoy together!
  • The exercise is hard at first, I know I won't be jogging anytime soon, but do what you can! I have Biggest Loser workout Dvds that are in 10 min increments, so if you feel meh one day, you can do one or two, but if you're feeling up to it, you can do 3 or 4! Eventually I want to be able to run a mile...but that's gonna…
  • I'm with you at over 100 to lose. I like the fast results, I feel that the numbers motivate you...When you see a quick loss (Like 4 lbs in 5 days for me) It makes you want to do more!
