Hello all this is my first post.I searched the internet for answers but couldn't find anything. I work full time and go to school full time and I feel like I have no time to prepare meals let alone spend the time to make a meal for just myself. What I want to do is spend one day a week preparing meals in plastic containers that I can just open and eat when I need to with no cooking. I don't know what exactly I need to throw together to have a balanced meal and to achieve around 500 calories per meal. Any tips? I don't care if the food is the same everyday. Thanks

I do that a lot right now. I usually just do something that is a 4 serving dish and then divide it out. That way it can still be "real" food and something I like. I throw in a sandwhich or a cheese cracker and lunchmeat option one day or two to break it up.

The super fitness-y people (like body competition intense) I know do the same thing and have it all pre done as well. Tends to be a lean meat aka chicken or fish and steamed veggie and a complex whole grain carb or somesort.

    Hope this helps
  • Do you have a crock pot? you can make some great soups with lots of veggies and lean meat and eat that the rest of the week. the only prep you have to do is to cut vegetables, and the crock pot with make it for you!
