I had my first in February. I had gestational diabetes and only gained 9 pounds. I’ve lost that already but I still have a long way to go before I hit a healthy weight. I lost 60 pounds before on MFP but gained most of it back. I started tracking my food and am starting out slow with a 1 pound per week goal. Feel free to…

I'm listening to her podcast too and love it! I don't necessarily take her advice on the nutritional side of things . . . I'm going to keep counting calories. That worked for me in the past and it's going to work for me in the future. What I do appreciate is the mental side of things! I'm trying to change my way of…

Hi! I’m looking to lose close to the same amount. This is my second go around. The first time I lost 50-ish. I have a big sweet tooth as well! I’m trying to keep it under control but sometimes the need for chocolate outweighs the need for other things! I’ll send a friend request!

You are being hard on yourself. It was just one meal and it's still early in the day. There are so many filling things that you can have for lunch/dinner that won't break your calorie bank. Plus there's still plenty of time to get out for a walk or some exercise later today. Just keep pluggin' along!

Awesome job! This is exactly what I needed to see this afternoon. We have very similar stats and I hope to be posting a similar success story one year from now!

I've lived in Colorado my whole life and I don't even know what the Colorado diet is. Is it something that can be purchased at one of our infamous "Green" stores? Or perhaps I need to be looking harder at the local Alfalfa's.

Anyone is free to add me as well! I'm looking to lose about 150 and have lost about 26 in the past two-ish months while using MFP.

I was diagnosed with PCOS as well and have been seeing a nutritionist for a few months now. She recommended that I try to stick with 40% carbs, 35% fat and 25% protein. I will say that I hardly ever get up to that amount in protein but I do feel better/lose more when I eat enough protein. Also, I still drink coffee too. I…
