Oh goodness, I just saw that you are 18 and have a 4month old (and a 2.5yo). Sorry, but this makes your husband a bigger jerk, you are young, JUST had a baby (still plenty of time for things to snap back into place, especially given you are so young), and he's suggesting plastic surgery? Is this for real?

For a 5'10, 180lb female, 1400cal/day sounds really low, especially if you are doing P90X.

Stop enabling your husband. There are a whole lotta issues going on here besides your exercising that sound unhealthy and toxic. I work f/t and have 2 kids (aged 5, 7). I don't find the P90X cardio to be very challenging (other than the PLYO, that is challenging). I burn at most 300 for Cardio X and the Kenpo and 400 for Plyo. But it depends on your size, fitness level. I wear an HRM for all P90X workouts. And no cardio from P90X competes w/ Insanity, IMO.

Most of the new pills have fairly low doses of hormones, so they tend to cause less weight gain than the older "model" BCP. I took Loestrin in the past and did not have weight gain.

Walking burns far less calories than you might think (it's still good for you, though, esp if keeping up a good pace, doing hills if possible). There are a lot of good circuit/weight training videos/workouts out there. I started out with Jackie Warner and now do P90X and P90X+. I'm lifting 10-15lb weights for 30-60sec at a time. STarted with 3-5lb weights and gradually got stronger. You can totally do it.

In our home office turned home gym (I run on the treadmill or do P90X workouts). During nicer weather, i also run outside.

Vitamin C/Ascorbic acid aids in the absorption of iron. YOu can take it in any form, an actual Vit C pill will work fine. Have you been evaluated for any malabsorption problems?

You had a baby 6mo ago, you are in prime post partum hairloss time. You could also not being eating enough 1000cal/day? Does this include exercise? Are you nursing?

If I'm reading your stats right, you gained some weight between round 1 and 2, that doesn't tell you something? )-: You are a "success story" b/c you lost weight while taking this "medication", the true test is to keep it off after you trash your metabolism and stop taking the HCG.
