Honestly, I think your HRM is overestimating your burn (for both workouts) by at least 100 calories. If you aren't hungry and eating a well balanced diet, I woudn't obsess about the numbers.

I'm 5'3", 140#, 39yo and burn 300cal max doing Cardio X. It's not high intensity for hte entire workout. 500cal is more feasible for me with PlyoX (and that's even aiming high). I do use an HRM fwiw (Polar FT4).
-
I think muscles look good on everyone.

I'm 5'3" working on those last 10lb. i'm currently eating 1500cal on rest days, 1700cal on workout days. I'm doing P90X2 and workout ~6days a week for 45-60min. This eating more is new to me, I was just doing WW for the past 5wk (so ~1200cal/day) and didn't lose a damn thing and felt awful). i've since started eating more…

I'm fairly broad shouldered for a woman, I do not shy away from shoulder exercises. I am doing P90X2 right now, my shoulders look more defined, not larger per se.
-
Old Navy compression capris mainly and a tank top or fitted T. Pretty much what I'm wearing in my picture. I work out at home, but still like to look good. Keeps me motivated.

I see you are in Texas. It should be perfect running outdoors weather there right now. You can always find workouts On Demand as well.

IMO, the only way to get strong enough to do "real" push-ups is to start doing them. You may only be able to do one when you start, but slowly you'll work your way up.

I see you had a baby 2 months ago. Are you breastfeeding? That requires more thoughtful decisions regarding your nutrition. If weight has been a lifelong struggle for you, I wouldn't focus so much on losing such incredible amount of weight over a short period of time. I would be looking at a healthier lifestyle you can…
-
I did, it wasn't a big deal at all. good luck.
-
Great analogy!! Ditto.

I've been using a Polar FT4, I think it was $60-70 on AMazon (the bronze colored watch is always discounted on there, not very pretty, but it works). I rely on it and it alone for my calorie burn. I never use MFP (or what the treadmill says I burn - that is off by at least 100cal for me).
-
I don't go to a gym, so I rely on DVDs. I started with various Jackie Warner strength workouts, progressed to P90X, and now have been doing various incarnations of Chalean Extreme for nearly a year.

Please speak with your doctor, get a referral to a nutritionist. If you are diabetic, sugar from fruit is something you do need to worry about. There are some fruits that are naturally higher in sugar than others.
-
Chalean extreme's strength training workouts are not cardio workouts. I use 10, 15, 20 and 25lb weights. You cannot do cardio while lifting heavy.
-
I've been enjoying Atkins Advantage Caramel Chocolate Double Crunch Bar 160cal 9g fat 11g fiber 10g protein

Got to bed in your workout clothes. Saves time in the morning, and it's one less excuse. I personally don't like super early workouts, so I find time after work to workout. On the days I don't have any time to do my usual evening workout, I do the above.
-
Strength training is a must for men and women, imo. I can't "just lift", I'm a dolt and need a dvd to workout to (don't have time for a gym, workout at home). I have done P90X and Chalean Extreme.
-
Obviously, that should read OR P90X2.
-
Less cardio, more weight training.
-
MFP's protein is basically the minimum amount of protein you should be getting in a day, not a maximum.
-
Chalean Extreme.

I have been doing Chalean Extreme (in various ways) since December 2011. Love it. I have been using CLX and Turbo Fire together for 5 months now and love the variety. I did P90X twice last year and like CLX much more - shorter workouts, same (or even better) results. I never mastered "on your toes" pushups until I started…
-
Finished the CLX/TF hybrid a couple months ago. LOVE IT. Still doing my own hybrid of the 2 programs in addition to one day when I run and some yoga thrown in for good measure.
-
As someone else mentioned eating fat doesn't make one fat. For snack ideas - 1oz of almonds, string cheese, hummus w/ red pepper strips (or baby carrots, whatever veggie you like to dip), greek yogurt, peanut butter on apple slices, popcorn, deli turkey rolls
-
I would do some light(ish) cardo - walking is a good one. Make sure you drink water, eat protein and STRETCH. I love being sore, but I also limit my strength training to every other day (do cardio +/- yoga on my non-lifting days).
-
INcredible!!
-
I'm doing a TurboFire/Chalean Extreme hybrid and I'm really happy so far . Lots of variety, so I don't get bored. Lifting heavier than ever, and in better shape cardiow-wise than ever. Love Chalean. Have enjoyed workout videos by Jackie Warner in the past. P90X was good too. Never liked 30DS.

Only a select few antibiotics make the Pill less effective. There is no reason a protein supplement would have any effect on the PIll's effectiveness. Talk to a pharmacist - it's their job to know about drug/drug interactions. Moreso than a doc.

I have two kids and work full time. When we get home, I fix them dinner, then go workout. On the weekends I workout in the mornings. Occasionally I'll get up early (5a) to workout before going to work.
