I'm in! I got 20-25 more stubborn lbs to go. Some days I feel so overwhelmed trying to figure out how I'm going to get the next 20 off because the first 35 was fun...sometimes easy but now suddenly I have to work HARD!?! Gotta keep telling myself that anything is possible and I am worth it. Let's Do This!

I do have a Wii. I've heard mixed reviews that say that it's not as an intense workout as the DVDs or classes and I am the point that I need 'tougher' stuff. Would you say it's a good burn? I have not heard of anyone losing much weight with Zumba, so I am sort of questioning it's effectiveness overall.

Use heavier weights. I alternate between 5s and 8s and today I start Level 3. I usually always follow up with an hour of cardio on treadmill or bike.

I gave it up completely. My daily vitamin has a small amount of caffeine so that may have helped some. I crave nothing but water and I know my body is loving me for it and soon I hope to be loving my body back. LOL

Chest 40" (was 46") Waist 37" (was 47") Hips 39" (was 44") Thighs 21.5" (was 24.5") Calves 14.5" (was 16.5") Neck 14.5" (was 16.5") (was 206 at my heaviest last summer, 198 when I started in December) My last weigh in was 170 and I swore off the scale for awhile and don't know when I'll jump back on again. I did 2 rounds…

If you like drinking a can of chemicals, go right ahead! lol but seriously, I cut all diet soda completely out and I started losing weight faster. I honestly don't know the negative effects it can have but I do know there is nothing natural about soda and I'm trying to be completely natural in my food and drink choices.…

bakery goods and sodas. Sigh.

Yes. Morning and evening workouts. Plus breastfeeding. It's getting to be a challenge to hit those numbers which I am loving. It just means I'm closer to maintenance.

It could definitely be right. Your body cant burn off the bad stuff if you aren't feeding it enough. If you don't eat enough your body is going to store the foods you do give it so if you are going to eat less calories then you should probably be sure they are 'good' calories. Just as an example.... I average 1200 burned…

I've had that problem my whole life! No matter what shoes I would buy. I would go to running stores and get help picking out the shoe for me and still I would end up with ankle blisters BUT I haven't had any issues since starting in December. There are socks that you can buy that help prevent blisters. I wear Asics GT-2150…

Well mine is open to my friends...It helps me feel accountable but as soon as someone tells me that I shouldn't eat my chocolate than they are gone off my friend's list LOL I could see where some people don't want to hear unwanted advice or criticism so they hide it. But like I said, it keeps me accountable and I like to…

Jillian Michaels Dvds. All of them.

I push through it carefully. And a good warm shower and bath always works for me. It's okay to take a day off but be ready to jump back in the next day. Sometimes when we get sore after workouts, we need to think about the workout that caused it and be sure we are using correct form and preventing injury. G'luck!

If youre hungry and have calories left for the day...then just eat! When you eat really has nothing to do with weight gain/loss. True hunger is a sign that your body needs something to burn and if you don't give it something to burn, it will start to store whatever it can. You don't want that. If your just in the mood to…

Yup! I am still nursing my 14 month old daughter and losing weight just fine....down 30 lbs and I exercise 2, sometimes 3 times a day and keep my calories between 1500-2100. I calorie cycle so I have low days and high days. I've noticed some decrease in supply but that could also be that she nurses only 3 times a day.…

And here I am thinking you are lucky! I've been ready for her to wean herself for 2 months now but she doesn't like cow's milk unless it has a little ovaltine in it and I really hate doing that knowing that it's a bad habit to start but you get desperate when your trying to have a day at the mall without needing to…

You are a wonderful person and the world needs more of you!!! Thanks for posting this and ending the night for many on a positive note!

30 lbs. Size 14 to a 10 and sometimes an 8 depending on brand. And all my workout bottoms are size small but my tops are still XL and sometimes L and rarely M. I think a lot of it has to do with hip bone size when it comes to jeans. I know someone who is 140 wearing a size 12 jeans and I'm 170 wearing a size 10. I think as…

I struggle with the same and would love to hear what others think. Logically, to me, you should never cut back on exercise if you are willing to put that much exercise in. So I would assume that changing your diet would be the answer. I've added things like peanut butter and protein shakes and nut/fruit/seed snack mixes to…

Younger infants (under 8 months) require you to eat at least 1700 calories (told to me by my lactation consultant) and older babies (over 8 months) require you to eat at least 1500. I currently am breastfeeding my 14 month old so I log breastfeeding in my exercise log as 1 minute/300 calories. I hope this helps. I know…

Ahhhh does this sound so familiar to me!? In my situation, my sister had to have her thyroid 'killed' and in doing that she lost about 60 lbs over the course of a year a few years ago and she then decided to finally start working out and she was doing great and I was very supportive and while that was going on in her life…

The first 30 days I used 3 lb weights and did 30-60 minutes of cardio afterwards on the treadmill or bike. Lost 20 lbs and 13+ inches. The second 30 days I used 5 lb weights, 60 minutes of cardio and mixed in her other dvds like No More Trouble Zones and 6 week 6 pack and lost 8 more lbs and 5 more inches. Currently on my…

It's ONLY the single best workout DVD EVER! lol...seriously tho, Jillian Michaels managed to cram all sorts of pain and sweat into 20 minute workouts that will give results if you are honestly putting your best into every move and keeping your diet within reason, as she likes to remind you that you can eat your way through…

Fantastic results :) You look like you are toning up great. Congrats and stick with it. 30DS worked wonders for me and now I'm doing Ripped in 30.

When I did 30DS I GAINED weight before I started to lose weight. I had been so inactive for so long that my body was building muscle faster than it was burning fat. Just stick with it. Take your measurements. I lost 13 inches that first month! You will get there!

Multigrain cheerios or cheerios...you can both in store brand. Our Walmart carries puffed wheat and rice in $1.00 bags that are really good too. I buy both and mix them together. YUM.

Nothing can guarantee that you will lose what they say you will lose. We all are different. No two people are going to travel the same journey so its nearly impossible to rely on those calculations. Don't be discouraged. A loss is a loss. Be proud of that! Do you eat your exercise calories back? If not, you might want to…

First, make sure you are drinking enough water. Second, stress will make you hold on to your weight. So don't stress over it! Third, try mixing up your workouts and try something new. Sometimes our bodies get used to doing the same thing over and over and needs a challenge. Forth, Eating back those exercise calories? You…

I *heart* the Navy! My husband is a Sailor and so are 2 of my brothers. Welcome to the Journey!!! Have fun with it!

You eat your daily calories. If you aren't feeding your body, then your body has nothing to burn, and if it has nothing to burn, it will starve and store and store and starve.
