yeah, agreed  I am thrilled to have the advanced dvds. I think the regular schedule is a tad slow, so i'm happy to have more workouts I can add in. Like today, I was supposed to do Core 20 and stretch 40. I'm sure there's reasoning behind the way the schedule is set, but when I WANT to do cardio, why only do…

Well, I did the HIIT 30 and Core 20 today. I liked the HIIT 30 (one of the advanced dvds) - the more I do the HIIT workouts the more I like them. I like how fast they move, I like looking forward to only a minute of high energy, then a minute of rest. Awesome! The Core 20 wasn't as hardcore as I expected it. Super low…

ditto. eat whatever you want within moderation, just stay within your calorie goal. I've nver reduced or cut out any food group and I've lost weight just fine (and continue to slowly but surely).

^^ nice job still getting a workout in!! It'd have been so easy to just give in and not exercise. I've got a little migraine a'brewin' today, boo. I'm still planning on working out after work though- sometimes it acutally helps my migraines when I force myself to workout  I'm into week 5 of doing my current calorie…

Well, I got myself to workout!! I didn't follow the schedule though, I felt like I needed a good dose of cardio to get my TOM blahs and bloat to go away so I did the fire 45ez for the first time. It worked, I feel a lot better! And the 45ez? JUST as tough as the regular 45! I loved it! I burned just about as much as I do…

This. I eat chocolate most days of the week, but I only but the super dark stuff (70% or higher) because it's low in sugar. Admittedly, if you don't love the taste it's a definite adjustment. I love the stuff now though!
-
i often find it too boring too to do so often. I usually do one of my yoga dvds for 10 mins instead, or steal the cooldown stretching from other dvds.
-
holy baby jesus. I'm so friggin' bloated. TOM came today. BLAH! I'm miserable at the moment, so now I'm not sure about exercise tonight! I may just take it easy and do antoher rest day. We'll see how things go though over the next few hours. The first day's always the WORST for me, then I usually feel pretty normal after…

Hello ladies! Yesterday was my rest day  Love that day! Today will be day 7, core 20- it wants me to do stretch 40... but. I need (and want) cardio after a rest day, so i'm going to cheat and do a hiit 15 or 20 and THEN 40 mins of yoga. It's too early to be chatty (not a morning person!) so I'll check in later.

Wow, PEOPLE! The thread picked up! Work’s been busy today, I haven’t had my usual slacking off time! LOL. I’m horribly bloated today (I think TOM’s starting today) but I’m still planning on day 6; Fire 30 (guna skip the stretch 10, did it yesterday. Gunna do 30 mins of MTV yoga instead!) The 55EZ wasn’t “easy” per se, but…

True, I haven't even had kids and I've got them on my inner thighs and hips- but I got mine super early in life when I wasn't even very overweight. I got them during puberty. I HATED THEM all during my teenage years. I was so embarassed by them. But now, all this time later they're barely noticable because they've faded…

haha oh. WHOOSH! Went right over my head. THAT'S RIGHT!! I recognize her from Shred it with weights- the kettlebell workout. What a career, getting paid to workout for a living! I couldn't take the pressure of being one of the main trainers, but just being one of the motivators showing folks how to exercise? Win.

YES! I thought the black girl that's near the front of the class looked familiar. I think she's on the Jillian Michaels Banish Fat Boost Metabolism!! Waht to you mean by needing an intervention? Because you're doing too much? Just relax. Follow the calendar! Focus on nutrition. Exercise is only like 20% of losing weight,…

wow, look at you buff girl! defnitely lost some fat!!! Looking good!
-
yes, but I don't see why a yoga video that someone enjoy's more can't be substituted.

Wow, no one here for Sunday huh? I didn't workout today! I had planned to- I was invited to a superbowl party but am not a football fan so I figured "go, hang out for an hour and head home, get my exercise in" but I ended up staying for 3 1/2 hours and by the time I got home it was already after 7pm! I don't workout after…

wow everyone's doing so awesome!!! I saw a NEW NUMBER on the scale this morning! I'm a daily weigher, so I see and know and am confortable with my fluctuations, but I haven't seen anything below 150 since august! I'm so amazed! Weighed in at 149.8 this morning! Totally made me smile  I haven't lost any inches on my…

Today's workout is a short little HIIT15, so I'll probably do 45 mins of yoga after that. I'm sure the HIITs aren't easy in any sense of the word, but I want to get myself up and moving today more than that. 45 of yoga should be a nice end!

Alright, I'll add my slightly TMI 2 cents to this. I've been struggling with increasing bouts of constipation over the last 6 months- is your bloating associated with lessened BM's? That's exactly why I was bloated and tooting all the time. Just two days ago I finally decided to try SOMETHING, ANYTHING to try and improve…

Now that I have the dvds.... Yes, I love stretching too, my body loves it and it makes my feel more felxible. However, I prefer my yoga dvds to chalene's stretch classes. To each thier own. I also don't do the stretch 10, I just do 10 mins of yoga. I figure as long as I'm keeping that in the routine, it doesn't matter…

@kiekie, finishing 7 weeks is great! I'm JUST starting the 20 week plan, it looks so daunting posted on my wall! LOL. You're restarting soon, so we'll be around the same spot in the same spot in the schedule! @vini, nope never tried one! I eat greek yogurt daily, but yes- a probiotic may be next. HOWEVER. I have had an…

SO TRUE! I use my food scale for just about everything!

holy jeez, i'm SO FREAKIN BORED at work today. These jokes are helping a little! I wish I had a decent one to contribute without googling! haha

So, if you picked your exercise level as moderate, that's calculated into your TDEE number- meaning it doesn't work like MFP where they underestimate and expect you to eat back all the exercise calories. If I were you, I'd change your diary to 1700 and shoot to be below that everyday and NOT log your exercise. Or, if you…
-
i wear a bodymedia fit, so that sets my calorie goal for me.
-
No. A TDEE includes exercise (or it should have when you were entering your activity information). If that's the case you should change your diary to what it says and NOT eat exercise calories (because essentially, you're "eating them back" over a week's time when you eat a stagnant amount daily. If you didn't include…

Fage 2% plain!! The non fat is too bitter. The 2%'s delicious all on it's own! edit: fage 2% has a very "cheesy" taste to me- so it's an AMAZING sour cream substitute. I add it to regular food all the time! It's great to add to canned soup for extra nutrition!
-
Hi sara! Welcome! Wow, you've made a lot of progress already! Impressive!! Hey guess what! My TF package is finally in the same city as me, woohoo! I sure hope it gets delivered today!!! If not, I'll just be doing my fire 45 dvd again

Well my car personal drama finally ended I got home from work and thankfully the person that parks next to me wasn't home, so my mom was able to park her car next to mine and give me a jump. I headed to O'rielly's auto store and was fortunate enough to catch a man working there that has the same car as me! He gave me…
