I had my surgery almost 3 years ago. I have gained 40lbs back. I was 35lbs from my goal and then my mother got sick and died. I've been having a hard time with missing her, a work project for 1 1/2 years that was very stressful and obviously taking in more calories than I need. I don't want to be this heavy. Never give up,…

I've had varicose veins for a long time so bad that my husband said they looked like they were going to bust open. Had some spider veins too. I had surgery to treat/remove the varicose and then injections for the spider veins. Some insurance covers so don't hesitate to see a specialist and see if it can be approved. I've…

I just had one and was worried about the prep. They made me drink the entire gallon. It was awful. I thought I'd lose about 10lbs with the constant bathroom trips. I actually gained 6!! I actually had an endoscopy to look at my stomach and check my esophagus at the same time as the colonoscopy. They were checking my throat…

They are so good. Walmart doesn't have them yet. Will have to go to Wegmans..bet they have them.

I was put on it, took it 2 days and was very sick. I couldn't even function. Dizzy, nausea, tired shaky hands etc. Told my doc and she said I was having a reaction and that likely I would have a reaction to the other diet pills out there. Good luck to those having no side effects!

Sorry about your mom. I lost my mother right before Christmas 16 and have gained 30lbs. I was about 35lbs from my goal, now I'm 65 :( I'm so discouraged. I have tried everything. I am active (I love powerlifting), and lately, the more I restrict, the heavier I get. I hope you find what works...I just wanted to say that I…

I started slow. My goal at first was to help with weight loss. I went like 3 days a week. I was seeing weight loss and I felt awesome too! I then started going everyday. A year ago May I added weightlifting (Stronglifts 5x5). Quickly became addicted. It really does have to be something you enjoy or you'll never want to do…

Roller derby is awesome! My daughter was on a junior derby team when she was in her teens. I skate, but I don't do derby. I wish there were teams around when I was younger, I'd have done it! Just wanted to say HAVE FUN!!

Interesting topic. I put on 2 shirts from last summer that fit me fine and this year the shoulders are too tight. I wondered if it was from lifting weights. Hearing you all have similar issues, I guess the answer is yes!

5-6 days a week. I love exercise :) I lift weights and do cardio. I just recently tried out the stairmaster and I like it!

I technically have 3 also. 2 I pay for. 1 near my home for weekends, 1 near my work and I go over right after I get out and a free membership through the University I work for. I can take all kinds of classes for free. They allow you to meet with personal trainers for free 6 times a year and the guy I've taken a couple…

Sorry to hear!

My husband uses his faithfully. Several years ago he fell 30 feet off a ladder onto a concrete floor. He complained of back issues so I bought him one and he loves it. I don't know, in your case, if it's advisable to do the inversion. Has your therapist said it would be ok?

I love to lift weights. I'm nothing compared to the awesome woman above ^^^^ but doing quite well. (I spanked my husband at the gym friday night. He struggled doing the 90lbs on the bench I was doing! but he's out of shape)

I have a one piece I just bought. I'll wear shorts over top because things need to be covered. I have a 2 piece suit I'd like to wear but the top floats up to the surface...annoying! I got mine from Junonia but only because I need a tall.

I've never tried that. Might have to give it a shot. Thank you!

Thank you! I appreciate it.

Pounded into my head from years of exercise that you have to cool down and stretch the muscles you worked. I had a massage therapist tell me the same. Old science?

That's too bad about your wrist! When I first started doing the fronts my wrists hurt for a while. Last week I realized that I hadn't felt the aches in long time. I notice that sometimes I bruise my collarbone and it looks like a hickey! LOL

Awesome!

I love it! I started seriously May 2016 with SL 5x5. Now it's an addiction. If I could do the program everyday I would. My obsession now is nailing down sumo deadlifts for form and weight.

Well thank you :) That means a lot. You all are inspiring and seeing your awesome lifting videos makes me want to do my best. I had a woman at the gym tell me that she's noticed I'm making progress. Lifting weights is addicting....it never gets boring and I love it!

Thanks everyone! I'm up to 115lbs so it should be interesting to see how much I can do with my back. @nakedraygun - got any videos of that 320? I can't imagine! @SonyaCele - I found that if I stretch the muscles good, I can get in the position but I haven't been good about giving it a try. I get a sharp pain in my upper…

I hope this hasn't been asked at some point. What would you guys suggest I should do to stretch/cool down after weight lifting. I do DL's, RDL's, bench, OHP, Pushpress, bentover row. I'm really bad at finishing my last set and leaving. Any tips are appreciated :)

We're neighbors...well...sort of....I live about an hour from Corning!

My blood pressure was beginning to rise. My mom was going through health issues of her own and I decided I didn't want to end up with the issues she was having. I started by going to the gym every other day. Now, almost 3 years later I've lost 113lbs, go to the gym minimum 5 days a week and I absolutely love lifting…

Lifting days - 60-90 minutes (3x a week) Cardio days 30-45 minutes (2-3x a week)

I don't change the cals when I enter the activity. I should, but I don't. For me, it's used only for recording the number of minutes I exercised, that's what I care about.

@TresaAswegan - great job! (you have a watcher in the background) ;)
