No, she did not tell me that and based her recommendations on my symptoms and an old blood test! I was diagnosed with Sjogen's Syndrome years ago and this Doc thinks that I have Fibromyalgia and gluten intolerance (also wants me to go dairy free). I went three weeks Gluten Free and then got an apt with a GI doc. who told…

Thanks for all the info! The web sites are very helpful. I would personally like to recommend Lucy's cookies for a treat. The sugar cookie is really good and they are 3 for 140 calories

I saw the first one and really liked it. It was really heartwarming and inspirational! When is it on again?

thanks. that is what I am wary of. The doctor says he thinks the pain is from a joint, maybe even a chipped bone. I ran through the pain for months before it stopped me. I am going to explore the gym today........there has to be something I can do. Maybe I have actually develop some upper body strength...... Glad…

Thanks everyone! I will hit the gym and see what I can do. Meanwhile I'll be enjoying your running stories! Bunny

Thanks. I decided to do intervals and it went fine. I just have to resist the temptation to do too much too soon! You were sweet to respond. I really needed some moral support! Laura

My husband and I are going to Hawaii for our 20t anniversary and would love to run a 5K or 10K while we are there (mostly for the t-shirt  ). Anyway - Does anyone know of a 5 or 10K race in either Maui or Kauai on April 25? We will be there for a week but that is the only Satuday. I have searched the net and come up…

wish I had been that smart! It is 40 here and I ran in tights and was hot! But it was a fun run with my new training group. We did 5 easy miles. It is good to be back running with friends! Have a great weekend everybody! Bunny :

Where are all the runners? Ok. I haven't been posting lately either but I miss your stories. RAIN has kept me inside for 5 days but I got to run three miles today in between showers. My new training group starts up this week. I am glad for the extra motivation and support. Been in a bit of a slump! Bunny

Hey Jess So you think this program is compatible with running. I don't want to give up my running but could live with 3-4 runs a week including a long run on Saturday. I need something for cross training and for working all the muscles running neglects!! How expensive is it? \ Bunny

Glad you had a good time! I did water aerobics for a long time while battling joint problems. It was a good workout and pretty fun! We even went in the rain! Bunny

Thanks Heather. I'm really looking forward to it. Good luck as you ease into running again. It is so hard to overdo it! I have been there and it is hard to wait while you heal! But you sure do appreciate the run when you are able to get back to it! Take care. Bunny

Molly - You are doing great! I started out walking and doing intervals of running very sloooow. My goal this year is to better my time in the 10K and then do a half marathon in the Fall. And by the way, sometimes I feel like new shoes almost make me faster. It's like they run all by themselves  Bunny

Good morning runners! Hope you are all having a great day and can get in a good run. We have beautiful weather today. I ran 3 miles - easy day! Something fun to share.......We are starting a running club at my son's school and the coach asked me to come out with them and help the kids train for a 5K. I will no…

It's pouring here! I went out in what I thought was a break in the weather but ended up running in the rain for 3 miles. It's was actually very fun! Happy Monday everyone! Bunny

So I tried out my new CWX running tights today and they are great! I was alittle sceptical because they are sooooo tight. But they really helped me with my IT band and knee issues. Its like running with a knee brace but so much more comfortable! I was able to do more hills and feel great tonight! Extra bonus - got several…

Wow - you guys are very impressive. I ran 4.5 miles this morning. I had been feeling some burnout and today I ran a new route with a new playlist (stole some songs from my teenage son's ipod  ) and challenged myself with a new hill I had always avoided! Boredom is gone I am happy to report and I can't wait to go out…

Hey : I'm a chubby bunny too! I surfed the web and you are right! The one I shared with my hubby was without yolk but still had about 700 calories in it! Good for a once a year celebration but wouldn't want them around as a regular treat! I read that some even have four yolks! Bunny

Anyone know the calories for the moon cakes that are typically sold at chinese markets. We bought some at chinatown in SF. So good - must be bad for you! Bunny

WOW! I always noticed the few pounds around my TOM but also have the other ups and downs you described! So glad that you wrote about this. I do weigh myself everyday and it drives me crazy! But I can't help myself  Bunny

So glad the site is up again. I ran 3 miles this morning. Just snuck it in between rain showers  This month I am totally on my own. Next month I am signing up with a 10K training group again. Have a great day! Bunny

Does the Garmin tell you your speed? Bunny

Well I ran for the first time since my foot injury and things went pretty well. I wrapped my foot for some extra support and only ran for a half hour but it sure felt good to be out there! My knee is sore tonight for some weird reason - my body is just not getting with the program right now! I am going to cut back my…

Does the Polar F6 tell you your speed while running or is that only watches that are GPS specifically? I really want one that tells me my pace. Bunny

I'm so sorry to hear about your kitty Pal passing. It is so hard to lose a beloved pet. They are members of the family! God bless you and comfort you. :flowerforyou: Bunny

Never tried the elliptical. How is it on the hips and knees? I have a gym membership that is going to waste so I might as well go and work out there until this heals. Jess- what did you do to heal. How long did it take? :flowerforyou: Bunny

This is not a stupid question! I was having trouble with yeast infestions and irritation and the trainer in my group happened to mention running commando. Running shorts and tights have panties built into them so when you wear panties underneath it's like double undies! I went Commando and haven't looked back. So…
