Half Greek, and Slovenian with a little Croatian, Italian, German, and Austrian thrown in there. Yeah I'm a smorgasbord....

Omg this. If you have a gluten issue, I get it, but so many see it as a way to lose weight. I work in a restaurant, and you would not believe the amount of women that don't even know what it is and jump on the gluten-free wagon. I mean, I've been asked if chicken breast and steaks and salad have gluten in it, then they…

This thread could go in an entirely different direction lol... But I had chicken with a mango chipotle sauce

Sure, I have before. As long as they were making an effort to be healthy (since I am as well), I'd do it again. But they have to be willing to eat decently and be active, since both those things are becoming a big part of my life.
-
Actually I'd say you were closer to active, depending on how often you go to the gym. When I was in my early 20s, i was pretty much doing what you are doing now. I worked as a barista at Starbucks 30 hours a week, going to the gym an hour a day, and going to school. I remember I was eating Mac and cheese and eating a lot…

They don't go into starvation mode because there's no such thing.

Nice work!

Thank you all :flowerforyou:

Without trying to be rude, maybe you should've thought of this a bit sooner. Weight loss hardly ever happens quickly (you didn't gain it all in a month). I mean, you could lose 10-20 lbs by then if you're really strict, but there's no guarantee. Just eat a calorie deficit, and maybe start a weight lifting and cardio…

I'm 6 feet tall :). And thank you!

Um fruit carbs are actually high GI (they're released quickly), much like the carbs in cakes. That's not to say they're bad. But all carbohydrates are created equal. A piece of fruit will eventually turn into glucose, just like every other carb.
-
People started noticing around the 40-50 lb mark for me. But I'm insanely tall and I had a lot to lose. I'd say people normally start noticing at around 15-20 lbs.

Bad calories are put in the corner. But seriously, there's no difference...some food is more nutritious than other foods and will keep you full longer, but you can very easily lose weight eating "junk" foods, as long as you stay in a deficit.
-
Just because it's there doesn't mean you have to always eat junk. I work in a family owned restaurant, so I'm surrounded by free delicious food. I know it sounds repetitive, but you have to make a lifestyle change and practice self control.

I get the most complements on my face, eyes, smile, and butt, and legs when I'm thin lol
-
Ahh pesto will do it...it's got about 100 calories a tablespoon. Usually with restaurant food, I budget my calories, or split the meal. Portions are generally double what they should be, plus most restaurants pile on the cheeses, oils, butters, etc...all the delicious goodness lol
-
 Seriously.....
-
Lol what? It's just your body shape. There's nothing wrong with the way you're built, so you shouldn't have to justify it.
-
I see that people do, but I still don't get it. Male or female, I've never thought someone was stupid because of how they looked...maybe I'm the weird one then lol
-
I'm not trying to be a jerk, but how in the world does a person's body determine if they're intelligent or not? How does the amount of visible muscle one has make you think they're less intelligent?
-
Actually the carbs are broken down and used immediately if it's needed. Seems to raise my blood sugars in minutes if I'm low.
-
Thanks :). And awesome job as well! Good luck :)

Well when I was 22-24, I lost 120 lbs and I didn't have any loose skin. Currently, I've lost about 60-65 lbs and I'm thinking besides a few light stretch marks, I'm not looking too shabby. I also eat fairly healthy, don't smoke, don't drink much alcohol, drink a lot of water, and moisturize regularity. I do have a pic, but…

Freakin awesome job! Lol I'll admit I was a little "wtf this woman's insane!" at the beginning lol
-
The charts were very helpful! And the older men and women rocking the tattoos are awesome. Proof it doesn't matter. My grandpa had a tattoo on his forearm and he was still the best grandpa ever

Thank you for the advice :). A reputable place and comfortable place is definitely important to me

I've always wanted the same design...I thought of that lol, but it's been 6 years and I still love the idea and design And thanks everyone again...I'll be going for it for sure. You all described what I wanted to know perfectly!
-
Thank you very much everyone :). I'm definitely going for it...just have to decide where I want it, but I've got almost a year to decide lol
-
Same questions as the above poster....as well, can you open your diary?

I'm thinking either at the middle part of my upper back or on my left shoulder blade. I don't think my pain tolerance isn't too bad...I think I'm a wimp lol, but I've had friends tell me that I seem like I can handle pain well But thanks for the replies :)
