Is it a bad idea to not track my fruit but to just add it as a quick add. Opinions? I'm paranoid about carbs in fruits

Why wouldn't you track it?

I guess the question is, how accurate do you want to be? The more accurate the better chance of success. On the other hand this is your journey, you can do as you wish. If you are paranoid of carbs in your fruit would you not want to be more aware of them. Also fruit has complex carbs which are healthier than simple carbs, like in junk food. So why would you be paranoid of the good carbs? For me, everything that I ingest is calculated. The good and bad. Good luck on your decision and your weight lose.0

OK that's what I wanted to know. That the fruit carbs are different. I was tracking to just not the carbs but I will now0

You understand that regardless if you track it or not, you are still consuming the calories and carbs, right? If you understand that, then what's with the paranoia? Whether the carbs come from bread, rice, fruits, vegetables, etc...it's just carbs. There isn't bad or good and it's not going to hinder you magically as long as you are staying within your deficit.0 -

Um fruit carbs are actually high GI (they're released quickly), much like the carbs in cakes. That's not to say they're bad.
But all carbohydrates are created equal. A piece of fruit will eventually turn into glucose, just like every other carb.0 -
I don't understand the question. What is quick add? Something that doesn't register anything?
If you don't want to count the fruit, don't count it. That's up to you.
If you know what the calories are and you don't care enough to add them, don't.
It's your thing, do what you want!0 -
The main carbs in fruits are glucose and fructose.
By this tool (USDA.gov)
http://ndb.nal.usda.gov/ndb/nutrients/report/nutrientsfrm?max=25&offset=0&totCount=0&nutrient1=211&nutrient2=&nutrient3=&subset=0&fg=9&sort=c&measureby=m
you can check amount of carbs in fruits, for example glucose.
Fruits, pears, plums, peaches and all dried fruits are high in carbs, for example.0 -
