I haven't been good at working out from home in AGES, but fwiw when I was what helped was sticking to a routine (same time every day) and a workout I liked that I could easily modify when I wasn't as energized. For me that was the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred video series on Amazon, but I imagine it would work with pretty…

What's helped me is setting a time to "check in" with a trusted friend every night. For me, it helps me to stay motivated by being able to brag about how good I'm doing -- rather than beating myself up in solitude and shame and just retreating to the easy route. I make the time before I go to bed each night to call her,…

Hey there! I'm an open diary person, but also a vegan. If that's cool with you, then feel free to add me. If not, no hard feelings. Best on your journey!!

Firstly, making it through such a trying time is a success in and of itself!! You are amazing. Secondly, don't focus on the past ("achievements" or "failures"). You know that you've taken control, been happy and healthy, before. Use that knowledge to keep you focused on doing what you need to do here and now. You've got…

You, sir, are a bad@$$! Congrats!

That's so awesome -- makes me want to fly somewhere just to have those moments!! Congrats :flowerforyou:

#1 for me - When you're reading a thread about the things that made people realize they were no longer "fat" and you think "Wow, I can't wait to be where they are." And then you realize you are -- or at least very close. And then a couple others I thought of: -- When you are always cold because you drink so much water and…

30 Day Shred did a great job of kicking my muscles off on the right track. I also did Ripped in 30 -- which is a bit tougher, in my opinion, but has a lot more variety. Make sure you pay attention to form if you do either of these (or probably any other dvd workout), because it can be tough on your knees. If you're not a…

If your BMR is 1400, then 1400 cals is how much your body burns when you're at complete rest (e.g. in a coma) -- the basic amount of calories needed to sustain your body on a daily basis. You should be eating at least this much every day. With as much as you work out, I'd definitely go for eating more, but make sure it's…

This! Good luck, and feel free to add me if you'd like. :flowerforyou:

You can definitely tell! It's not a slight difference either. Everything is smaller and there's definition popping up all over the place! Keep it up! You're awesome!! :flowerforyou:

Hi there, I've been vegan for 9 months now. I try to eat healthily and log most of the time. Feel free to add me if you'd like. Cheers, Sam

Heyo, Anyone here can feel free to add me if you'd like. I try to eat healthily as much as possible and log about the same. Although when I'm sick (as I have been for almost a week) that goes right out the window, logging I mean. But generally I'm pretty good. Good luck, everyone! :flowerforyou:

My cat and rabbit are still just as lazy. Maybe they need a good talk-to from your family. :) Joking aside, that's awesome. Congrats and have fun!

That is awesome. You are awesome. Keep up the great work!! :flowerforyou:

Today will be the end of Week 1 for me. I'm excited to see what week two's like! I'm still like this better than the shred!

You have done an amazing job!! Thanks for the inspiration. :flowerforyou:

Just completed W1D1! And I LOVE it. I am going to really like this one. :)

Thanks, everyone! I think the larger problem is that I don't love my company or the project we're working on. So the insult to injury thing is really getting to me. It could definitely be worse, but I'm almost madder that it's not (weird, I know!), because at least if it didn't have the falafel option I would be justified…

Those are some great results. I'll post mine once I'm done. 5 more days for me. :flowerforyou:

It's still free today on Amazon at least. (As of this posting.) Thanks! :flowerforyou:

That is awesome!! I fell behind with rest days and things like rock climbing class (killed my arms). But I'll be celebrating with you in 5 more days! Way to go you!! :drinker:

That's awesome. I'll be observing Vegan Awareness Weekend, too!

You're almost done!!

Congrats on the awesome results! I still have 7 days left of 30DS. But I'm looking forward to posting my final measurements, photos, whatever. :)

I too can do an 8/19 start date!

I'm still here too! Completed Day 23 today (L3D3). Seven more days to go for me, with a possible rest day tomorrow, depending on how I feel in the morning. I'll be here until Jillian says "You've completed L3" and I can say "HA! I'M DONE!! SUCKAH!!"
