Congrats!! That's awesome! And when I finish up, this'll be my first time seeing something through too!!

I AM DONE WITH @#%)(@ LEVEL 2!!!!!! :drinker: SO glad to be rid of it, if you can't tell. Have you heard of Happy Herbivore (happyherbivore.com)? There are some great resources there for a healthy plant-based diet. And recipes! Also, there is a Happy Herbivores group here on MFP with lots of resources. Good luck!

I didn't see that anyone else had posted this link, but if so I apologize for being a repeater: http://www.fat2fitradio.com/tools/ibw/ That tool will calculate your goal weight by using your current weight/body fat % and your ideal body fat %. I think it's a great way to figure it out. It's not 100% accurate, but it's a…

I know people on here who have had successes with lowering their fat, at least to get through a plateau. I don't think it could hurt. Also, if you're burning 400-500 cals/day and eating 1800, your net is 1300-1400. Maybe your body just needs a bigger net than that? Maybe try netting 1500-1600 for a while and see what…

^^ This. As for tricks/tips... Do you have any favorite healthy foods? Fruits or veggies you could eat forever? Maybe keep those well stocked and when you're feeling like you need to treat yourself because you're sad and feeling unmotivated, grab that treat. Eat all you want. Have a bad day. And then next day maybe it'll…

I work out in the morning. If I'm hungry, I'll eat a banana to give me some energy. If I'm not, I'll just wait. After the workout, I try to eat a filling, protein-dense breakfast.

I'm new to being vegan myself, but from all of my research and personal experience so far, if you're feel tired and worn down you're probably not eating right. Have you checked out things like happyherbvore.com and engine2diet.com. They both have great advice, getting started plans, and meal plans ($5 and free…

I once worked in an office that dictated what color nail polish you could wear -- only neutral/non-flashy colors or clear and all up to the CEO's discretion. It was a small woman-owned business too. For different folks, different strokes. But I was pretty annoyed to destroy my fabulous Halloween manicure for that policy.

I keep forgetting to check-in here, so I guess I'll do it now. :ohwell: The following numbers are as of Friday, July 20 before completing Day 13 (L2D3) Starting: 230.6 Current: 226 Start neck: 15 Current neck: 14.5 Start bust: 45.5 Current bust: 44.5 Start waist: 37.5 Current waist: 37 Start hip: 46.5 Current hip: 46 Start…

What time period was the gain over? And how much do you think you're burning with your exercise? You might be eating too little. Maybe while you were getting your cert, you were eating enough and your body was happy to let go, but when you got home your meals are not calorie-dense enough? Without knowing specifics it's…

^^^ This. Completed Day 16 (L2D6) today. I mostly think it was my fall two weeks ago that has my left knee so messed up, but doing yoga as a stretch/warm-up before 30DS really helps. I've also been doing more modified leg movements, as sad as I am about it. Today I did my first plank jack, though -- a couple of Natalie…

Careful, one time I touched one of those things and not only did I break my perfectly manicured nail, but I also gained like half of those pounds in my @$$ and no matter how many times I clenched my butt while watching Real Housewives, it just wouldn't go away. :grumble:

That's really awesome! Thanks for sharing! I hope we're all getting out and doing more with our newfound strength!! Cheers :drinker:

Don't forget that when you drastically change your habits -- eating a much different diet, or working out more/differently -- your body can got into retention mode and hold onto water. Sometimes it takes a couple of weeks for your body to get acclimated and release that water. If you're watching what you eat and how much,…

I've been spotty around here for the past few days, but I'm still here! I completed Day 14 today (L2D4). I am actually getting stronger, but a jammed my knee two weeks ago and it's not holding up so well. I'm having to modify some of the squat moves, which I never have had problems with. :explode: Hopefully it heals up…

Thanks, ladies!

Would just one day of non-heart-beatiness be okay then?
