So that makes you Mrs. America? :)

This is the mindset I'm trying to get myself into, but dang it's hard sometimes!

Wow.
-
Wow. I know it hurts now, but he truly did you a favor. You absolutely deserve better.

Recovering binger here as well. I was one of those hummingbird kids that could eat whatever I wanted and never gained weight. I could sit down with a bowl of tomato soup and put away five peanut butter sandwiches in a sitting with no problem. As I got older, my metabolism slowed, and I became more sedentary, the pounds…

I have the opposite problem. About a week into changing my habits Old Navy had a super sale and I stocked up on a crap-ton of stuff in my then-current size -- pretty much everything I bought is too big now and some still have the stupid tags on them, lol.
-
Sweet Jesus how have I never seen this?! LOL
-
I saw it there, too, lol. Love me some Tosh :)
-
OMJ I saw this too! Some people are so far beyond lacking in common sense that it's pitiful.

ALL the wins, lol.
-
Because of the gratuitous nudity, graphic violence and excessive profanity? I don't think I've seen that version of Finding Nemo.

Here! Love all things fantasy and supernatural -- haven't missed an episode of The Walking Dead or Game of Thrones and have the first few sets of the Walking Dead comics that I think I love (not quite) as much as Daryl Dixon :)

I think the statement that could possibly have put OP on the defensive was the "Clearly you have no children." You may not have meant it critically, but it could definitely have been taken that way...just sayin'.

I was babysitting 3 small kids under 5 when I was 12, so it's not too far out of the realm of possibilities.

Sweet Sixteen powdered donuts :( There are others out there, but they are just sad, sad imitations.

I drink water 99% of the time primarily because I love food more than soda. I'd rather have an extra 300ish calories a day to spend on a food I love than a soda. That said, I will have a Dr. Pepper maybe once every couple of weeks, but it's definitely not an every day thing for me.

I have diverticulitis and have to avoid most small seeds (no strawberries makes me super sad). Since they are "absorbed" do you think I'd be OK giving these a try? (Of course the obvs answer would be to ask my doctor, but that's what the internets are for, right? lol)

IDK...I guess it would depend on whether or not the kid was in anyone else's way, although I'm leaning toward your thinking and that mama would be much better served putting little pumpkin in a stroller and hoofing it outside. Makes me thankful that no one under 16 is allowed in the fitness room at our rec center.

Ha! I swear your post hadn't come up when I hit reply, lol.

I really wanted to like it too, but I'm with you. Totally got bored. Plus, the fact that my husband loves to go around randomly blurting out "everything is awesome!" makes me hate it that much more :(
-
I love my "green monsters". They're a great way to get a lot of nutrients into a compact, portable package, but they're definitely not any kind of miracle weight loss drink.
-
Definitely not. I'd much rather spend the $$$ that would have gone toward a gym membership each month on videos and equipment that I can use at home. Once you're happy with your stash, start adding the $$$ to a "reward" fund for when you reach your goals :)

They do Dirty Dancing retreats at the resort where the movie was filmed...would be an awesome girls' weekend!

Last night I had a Nestle Vanilla Drumstick...the chocolate glob that settles into the bottom of the waffle cone? OMJesus it's my favorite part. And Little Debbie oatmeal cakes....slide the two halves apart, add peanut butter, stick them back together = heaven :)
