I had a dog that was aggressive in certain situations (at the vet and if you tried to cut his toenails) and it escalated to the point where he sent a vet tech to the hospital before I finally bit the bullet and put him down. He had other issues as well but my point is if he's escalating you need to get him gone before he…

Oh wow! Great work! I can't believe that only took you 5 months.

I've DATED men who weren't very attracted to me and that was absolutely shredding to my self esteem, I cannot even imagine being married to a guy like that for as long as you have. Get out of there.

You look fantastic!!

I have a much easier time when I'm single. I always end up going out for food/drinks more when I'm with someone. And having someone who takes up a lot of your time gets in the way of exercise. I also think I'd get resentful pretty quick if the person I was sleeping with was trying to get me to lose weight.

Exactly what I was going to say!

Check out mybodygallery.com It's very helpful.

I'm at 36DDD, down from a 38DDDD and I've run long distances at both sizes. Get an Enell goddess bra! It's a life saver! They're pricey but they last forever. Oh and the cardio part is separate from feeling "fit" for me. If I haven't run in awhile I get really winded and struggle to get into a good pace, despite not being…

I'm in the same position as the original poster and I agree with this completely. Once I'm in the swing of eating too much it takes at least a week or two of staying under my cal limit to really lock in. Also- protein, protein, protein. Carb crashes are one of my biggest problems, if I'm close to 25% protein 25% fat 50%…

I love my tights because they're more comfortable for my shape than most shorts but I'll run in a t-shirt unless it's below freezing or too windy. Wear what you're comfortable in and let others do the same. Even if they are losing layers solely to satisfy their exhibitionist impulses maybe that's what gets them motivated…

I lived there for 4 years. It rains pretty much constantly fall-spring. It doesn't RAIN rain like in Wisconsin (also lived in Madison for a few years), very rarely thunderstorms, very rarely snow (and when it does everyone freaks out because no one knows how to drive in even an inch of snow. Literally people park their…

Wait, but is Australia technically a part of the world?

They make sticks that look like deodorant that work pretty well. You can get them at most running stores or at a general sports store like ****s. Seriously? We're editing ****s now? It's a man's name. Come on. Alright, at the store that is the short form of the name Richard. For crying out loud.

You look fantastic!! 40??? You look my age! (I'm 28)

Didn't go through the whole thread so don't know if it was mentioned BUT: mybodygallery.com <-- check it out. Very helpful in choosing a goal weight. I'm 5'7 and I'm aiming for 135-145.

Very nice! Big difference in the back especially. Great work!!

You can definitely do it! You will be amazed how much a race atmosphere pushes you. The adrenaline, even if you're really not a competitive person, is pretty cool. You're doing terrific and a lot of people have a really hard time with C25K on totally flat courses so the fact that you're doing it on hills and getting…

huh. This is why MFP is awesome. It has literally never occurred to me to carry ID and I didn't know RoadID existed until I read this thread. Thanks guys!

Cuz you think you can't! The first bit of every run suuuuuuuucks. I've been running 2-4X a week for more than a year now and the first mile of every single run still suuuuuuuuuucks. You just have to push through, go as slow as you need to (I started out at just BARELY faster than walking, you probably could have speed…

bump! I want in! Too late for pics tonight but I'll post tomorrow. I don't have a bikini but sports bra and underroos should be close enough, right? Could definitely use the motivation!

HOLY COW! Skinny you looks like fat you's kid. No joke. You look terrific! Even with the gloves and the slightly serial killer-y expression!

There are exercises you can do (google around) but to actually treat it? Yeah.. not much.. When I have issues I wear different shoes. Helps to change where I'm putting the most weight. Other than that, just gotta rest and it goes away.

YES! I am in the same spot! I actually don't mind the 160's, I think I look pretty good here and I run at a respectable pace at this weight... so no pit of despair, but definitely ready to be done with the 160's and into a normal BMI range! It's been months of 160's, I don't even want to think about how many months...

I'd secretly like to hit 125 just so I can say I've lost 100 lbs, BUT I think that will probably be thinner than I'd actually like to maintain. I'm shooting for 135 and I think I'll be to maintain there. I'm currently bouncing around the 160's and this is the smallest I've ever been as an adult.

If you are truly happy with who and what you are you wouldn't care what other people thought of your decision/inclination to remain single/virginal. Judging others and being bothered by the judgement of others stems from the same place: insecurity and a lack of self acceptance.

I always carry a water bottle and my ipod and for runs longer than an hour I carry Clif or Gu chomps/shot blocks (gummies). I have tried the GU gels and "real food" but the gummies seem to work best for me gastronomically speaking. Long runs at night I also take pepper spray and a headlamp (the sidewalks here are TERRIBLE…
