I love my Polar M400 with heart rate monitor! The strap is a little long on the watch for small wrists, but it trims very nicely. You can find very detailed reviews of fitness trackers at dcrainmaker.com . Good luck finding the best device for your needs.

I don't know why the companies don't label the calories in a more straight forward way...I guess they are trying to make it look like fewer calories per serving.

I love my Polar M400 (similar to A300, but has GPS). The accuracy is great and I find I only need to charge it every 2-3 weeks...and it takes only a few minutes to fully charge.

I also have the M400. It syncs perfectly with MFP. You may need to reinstall the latest PolarFlow app. I think I uninstalled MFP and PolarFlow and reinstalled them and then had no issues.

I like whole wheat pitas with hummus and roasted veggies: portobello, onion, red pepper (easy to make in toaster oven)....add some balsamic and fresh herbs if you like.

I like to add some fresh or dried dill, diced onion and celery, with some siracha, black pepper and a tiny bit of light mayo. I also make it without the dill and add some curry powder.
