LOL! I've actually heard about some of the elites speedwalking the climb so they can hit the afterburners on the downhill half of the race.. I just shorten my stride, increase the frequency, and use as little energy as possible.

Both the 10k and the 5k. I did them both last year, but at least this time it will not be three days after oral surgery!
