I go through this too. I think the best thing I can do is stay on track for as long as I can. Once I become overwhelmed or restless I'll just start maintaining and continue to log until I am ready to start losing again.

I actually do this now, but I know the more I lose the more I will need to incorporate exercise into my lifestyle. For me, I don't think a deficit can be sustained solely from dieting once my caloric goals drop below 1300
