ok, so let yesterday was my first day starting and I started off on level 2 only because level 1 was a little too easy for me and I needed a little challenge. So before I went it, I was like this is so boring. I'm used to a little different type of exercise like Crossfit and bodyrock. Oh and I have to mention I had just…

I'm sorry. I know the feeling. I've told a few friends and even my husband that I want to be 118-120 which was 60lbs from where I started and 44lb now. Then the dreaded question? OMG!!! from where?! I'm like first of all I'm 5'2" and I want to get back to where I was before I had a kid. I don't or can eve remember the last…

hmm. I'm not sure if its a buffet sytle restruant but I would stick to seafood. When my husband wants chinese I do a small shrimp in green curry sauce. Something spicy also doesn't hurt because it kicks up your metabolism as well. Good luck.

I was there 2 Fridays ago when the scale read +2lbs!! I flipped, cried, cursed, prayed; everything you can think of. I thought. WTH am I doing? I've been busting my butt, running, working out hard core and the scale is up!! Reall?! then the though of me having to loose almost 50lbs just overwhelmed me. I was like. I was…

@sjdoman, never thought of doing that. Smart!! thanks for the tip. Thanks everyone for weighing in. I know that it's just numbers but was wondering if it was around about true. So it seems it is.

Well some one that cannot be reasoned with in my opinion is not worth having to try and convince otherwise. Obviously she'll gain it all back as she has in the past. I wouldn't say a thing and when you loose your weight and keeping maintaining it then one day she'll come and ask you how you did it. She must be young and…

I like Turbo Jam. I don't have the new version but you still burn cals and its pretty fun. I just got 30DS and Banish Fat DVD by Jilliam Michaels and let me tell you that its not the most fun bc the music sucks but if you're looking to get results this is it. They are cheap too which is an added bonus. I like the fact that…

My husband does and rides his majority of the time unless icing of course. He does however have chaps and all his gear. I say since you don't have any not too but try it and maybe you'll know for next time. :)

I think as many have said; when you change the quality of the food you consume or change how much you eat your body responds well. Doesn't happen to every body at the same rate but maybe your body is just loving and healing itself, well at least that's the way I see it. Suggestions would be is to take measurements I don't…

liquid egg whites, organic washed spinach, zucchini, bag of skinless chicken brests, quinoa, brown rice, organic low sodium chicken broth ( to cook brown rice, quinoa in or to make soup), steel cut oats, soy milk or almond milk, or fat free milk, greek yogurt, berries. these are my must haves

I'm loving all the responses!! Thanks for posting. @CharlieJuliette, I don't think its in vain. I mean, for me its a self concious thing, as I would say for most women. I think we'd all love to feel good in a bikini or what not. I worked for plastic surgeons for a while and they ALL claimed that only surger would get you…

wow!!! great job!!! You look soooooo good!!!!

I'm not sure where you live but there usually are running clubs you can join. For instance I have the Dallas Running Club which is like 40bucks for the year and there's several races, usually on Saturdays. They're run at one of the most popular lakes in Dallas. Go to Active.com and look for races and events in your area.…

I love them! I add them to whatever I can. I run so I need them for the stamina and natural energy they give you. I add those and bee pollen to my morning oatmeal!!! what a treat!!!

well, I think its a great idea, because its more like people ate before all this preservative crap. I mean we just ate off the land. I did this a few years back and tried it for about a month and I did gain weight because I was overcompensating with pasta and the starches. However, I think if you are prepared you can…

HI ladies! I'm also from TX!!!! yes everything is bigger here but we don't have to be!

well I just lost 2.2lbs since Sunday. So, maybe not the best person to be answering this. However, I think 1.5-2lbs a week is perfectly fine and healthy to loose. I was freaking out about mine because my official weigh in on Friday. Just like you said. Some weeks you'll loose and you may loose more and then some weeks…

oh and totally forgot to tell you this. You're a runner and just because you're short, doesn't mean that you eat less. Let me see if I can explain this. You know how alcohol affects certain people differently like weight, height, etc. Ok, food isn't the same way. Food is fuel. You're not a sedentary person because you are…

I can totally relate!!! February sucked for me as well. I was up 2lbs also and the thing is I was only being not consistent on the weekends which made me more pissed off! So after crying literally about it all day Friday because that's how depressed I was, I cleaned it up and started back up this Sunday and I'm down 2.2lbs…

Hi. I was just reading your post. I also run about 4x a week and my long runs on the weekends. MFP has me on 1200 cals a day and yesterday when I didn't even work out I was starving before dinner.. I would love to run and work out and not be hungry like you but when I work out 2x like today I have to up my cals some. I…
