It's your Circadian Rhythm out of sync. Night time is for sleeping, not eating. You are not hungry, you are tired, so go sleep. Google it, its a very interesting biological process.

It is a common side effect, fluid retention, increased appetite and weight gain . I think you are doing great!

I love it. I can quickly roast veggies. Cook meats. Make snacks, cheese toasties, tuna melts. And it saves turning the over on (44 degrees here 🥵)

I like the Mission pitta bread, 1 whole pita pocket is 256 calories, I stuff them with hummus dip and salad, It makes 2 massive 'sandwiches' for about 400 calories. I also like rice paper role sheets. They are 102 calories for 4. I put loads of crunchy salad in them + tablespoon on…

My "eat on the go" breakfast is 160gm Yopro Yoghurt, about 20 of breakfast cereal, at the moment its Bran Buds, 50 g frozen/thawed blueberries 1 Tsp Chia seeds. This is about 200 calories. Or a similar thing I make in a container overnight is Bircher Muesli. 45g Bircher mix, 100g Yoplait Forme Yoghurt, 1/2 grated apple.…

In Oz we have Coconut Cream in the Asian section f the supermarket. Its between the sauces and the curry pastes. Ayam brand is the best.

We eat a lot of cut-up fruit here. All of them are ok and last a few days. If I cut up apple, I just use the juice left on the chopping board from the orange I just cut up. The acidic juice stops them from browning.

I fill a bento-style lunch box and fill it with all sorts of finger foods. Dips, crackers, veggie sticks, fruit, cheese, nuts, boiled eggs, pickles, cherry tomatoes, deli meats. Whatever that adds up to 300 calories!

At the moment I'm putting a piece of frozen crumbed fish and a few sweet potato chips in the air fryer. Eat with a salad. Comes in at about 350 calories
-
I buy the small ones, they fit in the air fryer! Makes a good snack. Or fold in half once the toppings are on and toast in the sandwich press.....mmmm cheesy goodness.

Try and read up ond understand the pathophysiology of your disease. High BGL, high BP, oedema, urinary incontinance and osesity will all make better sense to you as to 'why', once you understand how the disease affects the body. Then you can learn how to manage it.

I always go on a weekend hike. Its summer here in Oz now so I'm always at the beach

You don't always need to incorporate them into a cooked dinner. I love cutting veggie sticks and having with dip, a heaping of salad in a sandwich or wrap, making a raw salad, cucumber and tomato on rice thins. Roasting veggies in the airfryer, making veggie 'chips'. Pre-prepping veggies in the fridge are good, wash, peel,…

If you are craving sugar, eat more fat. Don't buy sugary products in the first place, don't bring them into the house. Be more cautious when grocery shopping.

I don't snack. I divide my daily calories into 3-5 meals. At the moment I'm on 1200 calories.
