  • There's a time and a place for bacon - In a roll with brown sauce (as a rare treat of course!!). Not on my ice cream.
  • When I last went, we took with us disposable BBQ's and had beans, eggs, noodles, anything that could be cooked in a mess tin and not go off. I also had a stash of cereal bars, dried fruit and pitta bread in my tent. I didn't buy much food from the festival as it was sooooo expensive. Although food aside, don't forget your…
  • http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01jxzv8 Sounds interesting. It will be nice to sit and dream that for an hour it wasn't me that made me fat!!
  • I'm trying to stick to low carbs at the moment and I love all the food that your doctor has told you to stay away from and usually have at least one a day. I am keen to see what recipes people suggest. For my lunches I tend to take leftovers from dinner or use white & wheat tortillas filled with turkey.
  • I can fold my tongue into a shamrock shape
  • I've never been disciplined enough to keep it up for 90 days, but I love doing the odd workout here and there, especially the Kempo. My brother did the program a few years back and dropped from an XXL/XL to a M and then gave the workouts to my mum who approaching 60 loves them and is more toned than ever. They were both at…

  • I think you are actually my twin!! My stats below: Sex: Female Age: 23 Height: 5'5" GW: 140lbs SW: 190lbs CW: 156lbs Finding it tough to move from there though!
  • Thanks guys. Open diary for you to look at (I didn't log from Thursday - Monday, but it's all there up to Wednesday). It has my exercises logged as well. Height is 5' 5''. I workout about 4 times a week, I was working with the 30 Day shred as well, to make sure I was getting a bit of strength training in everyday. I'm…

  • A photo of me on a family holiday in 2010. Then in the post came my graduation photos. My flaws like spots (and annoyingly my freckles?!) had been airbrushed out, but my big fat chin wasn't. Made me realise there's only so much photoshop can do, the rest is down to me!
  • I love the P90x Kempo. It's fast, fun, gets the heart rate going and I'm sure it'll come in handy one day!!
  • When it's time to do a cool down after a workout and you're a little sad it's over
  • I am with you! The first time I turned on the 30DS, I wanted to kill her, her tone of voice and the fact that she doesn't mention form until you're doing the exercise for the 2nd time also annoyed me. I much prefer Tony Horton's style of focusing on breathing and form and when you feel like you might die, he encourages you…
  • Given the weather at the moment, I'd stay in! Pamper day, your favourite films and a some good food light popcorn or something. Or maybe you can do some baking and cook a load of healthy tasty cupcakes.

  • Guesstimate. You are either guessing or estimating. Make up your mind and use one!!!
  • I have little room to work out in, but still manage P90x and 30DS. I have a set of dumbells (5lbs) and 3 resistance bands. Nice and compact and really easy to up the resistance with the bands
  • I have no idea why someone would want to reach that goal. I am baffled. I think we need to get her on supersize vs superskinny!!
  • Sounds like you're doing a good mix of cardio and weights. But it will take some time to find a routine that works for you. Don't worry about bulking up, as a woman we don't have the testosterone to turn into a bulked up muscle man over night (nor will men!!) You will tone. Keep the reps between 12-15 and the last 2/3…
  • Well done! Not a bad thing to love! I am the same, I love getting my workout done and it feels great when it's over and you know you've done a good workout. It's just a shame I love eating the wrong food just as much as I love exercise!!
  • Really great job! I am on day 5, my legs hurt and I want to tell Jillian to change her attitude and voice.... But if I could get results like that, I need to keep on at it! My inspiration for my next workout for sure - thank you for sharing :-)
  • 1. I was born and raised in the East End of London 2. I went to a fee paying "posh" school... 3. ... You'd never know it if you met me. 4. I love my music - heavy and power metal fan as well as chart tunes 5. I am a very determined person 6. I left my last job as I was undervalued 7. When inside my flat - I always wear…
  • I like to set myself little goals. I always get disheartened and demotivated if I say something like ' I will lose 20lbs by summer' then I get bored and it never happens, but if I break it down saying ' I will lose 1lb this week' and 'I will stay under my calorie limit today' I find that much more realistic and achievable…
  • Yes! I heard this the other day and was thinking 'can you say that on TV?' I think both fanny-pack and bum-bag are hilarious. At least both the UK & US have a sense of humour!
  • Thanks everyone :-) It feels especially good as the scales haven't moved for about 4 weeks. Just goes to show the scales aren't always the way

  • Hi I'm from the UK, 23 and also find active friends a great motivator. Feel free to add me :-)
  • It is hard to break the old habits of ' I want to eat this because I can' especially if you have started to plateau or aren't losing as quickly. As tough as it sounds you need to keep on at it. You are more likely to say to yourself that you regret the extra beers when the scales don't move more than if you know you did…
  • Hi Patty, welcome :-) Lots of people on here for support to help you achieve your goals. I would suggest having a look on the food an nutrition forum for info on food. I would say, is just log everything, when you have started doing that, you or you can get others to look at your diary and give you advice on how to get to…
  • Hi, I'm from the UK feel free to add me as a friend. There are loads of us on here, welcome :-)

  • My name is not Pip or Pippa. They are different names to Phillipa, if I was meant to be called Pippa or Pip, my parents would have named me that - simple!
  • I do find her quite irritating on the 30 Day Shred, but I just mute her and play my music. I find her so serious, I can understand that it may appeal to some people, just not me. For my personality, I find Tony Horton's approach, a bit more fun with a few 'jokes' thrown in and he also focuses on form and doesn't make you…
  • I'm on day 3 at the moment, last time I gave up after 2 days as I just found Jillian too annoying and angry at me!! Though this time round I am doing other home workouts as well before to keep it exciting and hopefully I won't be getting too bored.
