Yeah, that's the only place I could find that posts their nutrition information online. Unfortunately, I think some of their entries are wrong. For example, their small boneless fried chicken apparently has 170 grams of protein per serving. I just assumed they meant to say 70 and entered it into my diary.
-
So the closest entry that I could find was this: https://www.jimmythegreek.com/menu/meals/ However, that restaurant doesn't post their macros, so I just plugged their calories (1200) into MFP and went with a 35/45/20 carb/fat/protein split, which was equivalent to 105, 60, and 60 respectively.
-
MFP Support got back to me and said that they made it so that whatever entries that you don't use in the last 6 months automatically get deleted. Perhaps we need to start a petition to bring the old system back.
-
Would you suggest to OP then to add more ab exercises in addition to the compound exercises that he's already doing?
-
I ended up going with the nutritionix entry: 1 bowl (3 cups or 710 grams) equals 629 calories, 16 grams of fat, 78 grams of carbs, and 42 grams of protein.

Yes, I had blood work done too. Sorry, should've mentioned that earlier. I'm just going to continue seeing my counsellor and working on my mental health. I'm fairly certain my anxiety is just causing me this chest pain. My counsellor told me that my anxieties around the vaccine are related to reading too many side effect…
-
That's so scary. Glad to hear you're okay now. If you don't mind me asking, how long did it take for the pain to go away and did you have to take any medication?
-
I had an ECG done today at the ER and the doctor said that I was fine. He implied that I was just experiencing anxiety. It could also be heartburn I think. For example, I noticed the pain flare up yesterday, while eating dinner.
-
Thanks for asking. I honestly haven't been doing well. It's currently Wednesday night and the pain still hasn't gone away. So far, I've spoken to 3 doctors and 2 nurses. Almost all of them told me that I was probably just experiencing anxiety and not to worry about it. However, one of the doctors told me that I should go…

Yes. That's why so much of the weight wasn't actual meat. Sorry, I should've been more specific. So 444 grams was the weight of the raw shrimp. 268 grams of that 444 grams was shell and heads (which I didn't eat), meaning I ate 176 grams worth of meat. 176/444 = 0.33 So I'm thinking that I only consumed 10 grams of oil,…
-
So if you were me, you would just enter 30 grams of oil into your diary? The raw shrimp weighed 444 grams, but I only ate 176 grams (the rest was shell, which I threw away).

My mom thinks I'm crazy and so do my coworkers (I bring my food scale to work sometimes). I don't care though and neither should you. If anything, most people will see you weighing your food and realize that they should be doing the same.

Hahaha. Clearly I didn't check his math.
-
Yes, start with eating 3240 calories a day lol. Aim to gain 0.5 lbs a week and then increase or decrease your calories if you're gaining too much or too little.
-
0.8 to 1 gram of protein per pound that you weigh seems to be the general consensus if you want to build muscle during a bulk or retain muscle during a cut.
-
Whenever I eat out, I use the entry: Restaurant, Italian, spaghetti with meat sauce.
-
What lifting routine do you guys run when you cut? Also, are you supposed to spend some time in maintenance before you cut, or can you just go straight from bulking to cutting?
-
The only protein powder that I can drink without feeling sick is Epic Protein. Only downside is that it's super expensive; I usually buy the 5 lb bags for $125.
-
Have you tried extended release melatonin? Bright light therapy? Perhaps a sleep specialist could help.
-
Nice set! I have the 50 lb set but their not as colourful as yours :(
-
Are your fat macros at 30% or under? Fat is more likely than carbs or protein to be stored as belly fat.
-
Just go on the USDA database. They have entries for cooked and raw foods.

If you're cooking frozen chicken breasts, defrost them first. Then use a meat hammer or rolling pin to flatten them out, so the entire breast cooks evenly. Regardless of the cooking method, a meat thermometer is a must. I take my chicken breasts out of the oven or out of the pan when the temperature hits 160 F. Then let it…

Well, his calories are quite high for someone who is trying to lose weight. I think we can all agree on that
-
It doesn't look like he's doing keto...
-
You consumed way too much fat today.
-
Take before and after photos, along with measurements of your muscles. That way, you can see your progress and know where all the weight is going.

chicken breast, white fish, and pork chops

You're right: I was trying to figure out how much udon I ate by subtracting the weight of the broth from the weight of the udon + the broth. Anyways, I just ended up estimating 200 grams of broth, so around 343 grams of udon which came up to 500 calories and 100 carbs.
