I think that once you have embraced your journey as a life style change rather than a set goal, it will make it easier. Eating mindfully and exercising should come easy to you by now - and their benefits go beyond the number on the scale.

I believe the every day house work shouldn't be counted as calories burnt, only because those are things you were doing before. "Light activity" - I won't count my everyday moves as exercise (that is my choice of course)... I believe that counting that which you do anyways gives you a false sense of extra calories to consume if you are going to be eating those calories back (as many of us do)...

You have to play around with it and find what works for you... I have never fasted, I have 5 to 6 meals a day, but that doesn't mean that those who fast or have the amazingly called cheat day don't have awesome results as well. Which ever way just make sure that you feel satisfied at the end of the day.

Continue doing cardio but do weights too... the benefits, oh the benefits of combining the two... as far as the tummy, mostly it is food but stay away form the floor when doing core - make sure you are engaging it with each exercise, no matter what movement you make you should be feeling it in the core as well
