I believe this has to do with diet - consuming two little.

#1 Stop saying it is hard or that you hate this and that #2 Establish a clear WHY of wanting to do this #3 Make sure that your Goal are realistic and attainable #4 Remind yourself on a constant that you didn't gain the weight over night therefore this too will be a long process - set daily, weekly, and monthly goals that…

I walk my dog about 4-5 times a day, I have to go down and up the stairs each time (52 steps each way which equals 520 steps), I don't count it - I don't count cleaning either. Some people will log every single lil thing so they can have the extra calories - I wouldn't advise doing so if it is an every day thing you do.…

Read my profile and add if you wish. As long as you are doing this for you, you will succeed - yes the words might have been hurtful but it has to be all about you and what you want and how you are going to accomplish it.

FIrst step - NO NEGATIVE TALK ALLOWED. Determine the trigger? ... for instance, and I know this of myself very well, if I feel like eating something and I don't eat it then I will eat everything else in sight - reason why I don't deprive myself of anything -- some will agree, some will disagree but we all have what works…

Just remember that this is as much as a mental change as it is a lifestyle change, perhaps the mental is even more importan. You have to look at yourself in the mirror each morning and tell yourself you are beautiful just the way you are but that you are going to show yourslef the love and respect you deserve by taking…

Brown rice keeps good for just about 7 days (taste as fresh reheated as the first day, as long as you place it in a sealed plastic or glass container) you can get frozen chicken breast which is a bit cheaper... freezer bags do wonders, I buy pork chops and season and separate them in freezer bags - defrost cook and go...…

baby steps, remember that gaining the weight didn't happen over night - 30 lbs lost is a cause of celebrating an achievement, means you are being proactive. take pics even if you don't like to, take measurements and continue doing what you are doing. Don't get too hung up in the number of pounds loss but in how you feel…

I need some positive kick-a*s peeps in my life. I too am making my way back here. Read my profile and add me if you would like...

That is an amazing testimony of what leading a helthy lifestyle can do... congrats.

ufff... I am so sorry for your loss. You shouldn't feel forced to do anything but to take care of yourself and give yourself the time needed to grieve the loss of your dad. I agree with a previous poster - if staying on track gives you a sense of stability and centers you then by all means do so -- but do not feel bad if…

You are not going to damage any of your progress for one night... enjoy whatever you want, it isn't like you are going to go back every day for the next week or month. Healthy habits should not impede from you enjoying life, actually it should enhance it. Try to get an extra workout in if you are so worried about it or…

Diet and exercise... you can achieve it
-
Though food is about 80% factor on wight, it would be the exercise and activity that would determine body composition as such... I might be wrong

Your body needs carbs, proteins, and fats to function - too much or too little of one of the 3 is not going to be good for sustaining you -- opt for non processed foods and for lean proteins and seek out the good fats -- I think the 40% (carbs)/40% (protein)/20% (fat) balance in the diet works wonders. In all reality at…

Water is water, and everything else is everything else. Can you be getting hydrated by the other beverages, of course, but most of the time the other beverages contain calories attached to it - those you should count in your diary. The color of your pee will def. let you know if what you are drinking is enough to keep you…

A mix of healthy eating/ cardio/ strength training... and healthy weight loss - I am a huge believer in TDEE - figure it out, set your weight loss to be 1-2 lbs max of weight loss.
-
I would use the TDEE Calculator and it will figure it out for you. http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/
-
What you need to do is sit down and map out your goals again. I just learned today at a skillshop (workshop) about Goals - so I will share what struck a cord with me the most was setting: S.M.A.R.T Goals S - pecificwhat do you exactly want M- easurable-- set check points along the way A- ttainable --- realistic R- relevant…

Stomach is based on food, stress, etc. - I would say figure out your TDEE eat at maintenance or above maintenance and make sure that you hit macros in the process. As you weight lift and do any type of exercise for that matter, make sure your core is engaged at all times.
-
As long as you are hitting calories and nutrients in one meal that is more than fine.
-
I would set it as sedentary - keep logging here track your exercise and on the days that you do exercise eat the calories back - this will keep you on track on the days you don't.
-
Different things work for different people and whereas most will give the same result, there are some that are healthier ways than others. It is my experience that if I don't fuel correctly, I don't function well. I also use TDEE rather than what MFP says - I think MFP places every female at a 1200 calories and every male…
