  • 1) Electrolytes, in the easiest terms possible, keep your cells fully charged. (esp nerve, heart, and muscle.) 2) Yoga!! Yoga is the best thing you can do for your posture :) Hope that helps :)
  • Been a vegetarian for 9 almost 9 months, maintained my weight...never went up or down. But I do feel better! What were you eating while vegetarian that caused you to get underweight?
  • Hey! Just added you. Welcome back!

  • A little late here....but I eat salmon every night and here's one I have tried a couple of times. Simply mix a little bit of butter with pure maple syrup and stir. Then place over the salmon and cook. It is AMAZING! And simple.
  • Hey Dan! Feel free to add me. I love meeting new people on here who are passionate about getting fit and healthy :)
  • Coconut Oil is amazing. Just be sure you have the unpasturized Virgin coconut oil, you'll know the difference just by the smell! I use it for frying my eggs, as sunscreen, and moisturizer as well. It's an amazing buy, well worth your money!
  • I LOVE PiYo....but I don't get a full sweat so I usually double up and then do T25 as well :)
  • I have been working out at home for years! I prefer it over the gym. I've done all kinds of stuff like Tae Bo, Carmen Electra, Jillian Michaels, Pilates, Insanity, P90X, Les Mills Combat, Insanity, Focus T25, and now PiYo. I love them all and have seen GREAT results. :)
  • I've done Killer Buns and Thighs! I love that DVD :) I'm not sure how to log it but if you don't have a HRM and you do have a smartphone, you can download a HRM App for free. It's pretty effective and...free, lol.
  • Hey, I don't work night shift but I know some people who have them and they struggle with their eating and stuff. What are you finding hardest about the night life?
  • Hey, I just checked out TDEE...pretty cool. I am not %100 sure what you mean by changing your calorie goals tho. From what I can see you're just suppose to remove %20 from the number TDEE gives ya. Do you work out? How often? And how long have you been stuck at the same weight? Maybe you could try cutting back your calorie…
  • To help the soreness I would recommend some sort of Recovery drink. You can take Creatine Recovery, Results & Recovery (Beachbody), or look at places like GNC. Most sports places, even walmart, would have something. :)
  • I am doing P90X as well and it's my 2nd week. I do the pull ups when I can but I use the resistance band most of the time, looped around the bar. It works really well. I loop it a little more each time to get myself better and stronger. I am loving it!
  • I just started doing Yoga once a week with the P90X program. I love the idea of it and wanna start doing it more often than once a week, so support would be great! Feel free to add me :) -Tanya
  • Getting fit and reaching our goals is a journey...one day at a time. It's like trying to travel across the world in one day. Won't happen. So take it slow, enjoy the ride, and most importantly...meet new people while you're doing this! Nothing is better than making new friends and getting support from others. You'll get…
  • Hey all! I have done Insanity twice...am now onto P90X....and here's my input. Insanity is tough! You will need to modify what you are eating and drinking and on the second month even start adding some extra calories because you'll be working so hard. It's a tough program but it's not impossible...and the results are…
  • Hey, I have a support group specifically for people doing P90X and Insanity, as they are such hard workouts and support helps a lot! If anyone would like to join, it's free and I'd love to have ya there! Just shoot me a message and I'll add you :)
  • I sooo appreciate you all responding to this post! I am currently doing P90X, just started today. I like it so far. Have also done Insanity (who hasn't lol) and Les Mills Combat (which I LOOOVE). I posted this topic because working out to these programs with others who are doing the same, you can share your struggles and…
  • Okay whoa lol...reading all the comments here and yes, I am a Beachbody Coach but no I am NOT trying to sell anything to anyone! I asked this question for a few reasons....first of all I have only done a few of the programs. So when I meet people who've done some of the other programs it's nice to hear about their…
  • Hey :) I've been where you are! Starting up again is really hard! Last year I did Insanity and was at my best weight but then we moved and the stress of it all caused me to stop for awhile. I felt lazier and tired all the time, was hard! The only thing that has ever gotten me through it all is my support groups. Makes a…
  • Wow!!!! This is amazing!! You should be soooo proud of yourself!
  • Starting over can be hard but it's still a start to something great! If anyone here is interested in joining a support group to help stay on track, message me or add me as a friend and I'll get back to you on the details :)
  • I understand why this is so depressing for you, just don't get down on yourself. This kinda stuff happens and it's a little harder to burn the weight in Winter than in Summer. You can start with a cleanse (I like CleanseSmart Rapid cleanse) which will give you a head start. Then from there try and eat within your calorie…
  • Maybe it's something you ate too much of. Gluten can cause all those symptoms and by the sounds of it you took in quite a bit! Just lay off Gluten for a couple days and see if that helps at all. Also, food is my biggest problem. I eat as well as I can but struggle all the time...so a few weeks ago I decided to slowly start…
  • I'll add ya :) Always love new workout buddies!!
  • Proud of you!! This is YOU standing up and saying you are ready to commit to yourself and get back into those skinny jeans! Don't get discouraged...I've seen so many people accomplish their goals but give yourself 6 months - 1 year. Stay commited and you'll get to where you wanna be. And then when you do, post a pic of…
  • I completed the Body Revelution last year and had so much fun with it! I love JM! It starts off very basic and always has modifications. By month three you are doing harder moves but again, there's always modifications. I am currently on Les Mills Combat...have also completed Insanity and Focus T25. So here's what I can…
  • Hey :) Never heard of polar bears as pets lol...but I am from Quebec and that pic of the mountains seems pretty accurate right about now! Canada is such a beautiful place...totally worth visiting.
