It confuses me too, so I would love for someone to shine some light on the subject.

I'm willing to try this! Anyone can add me, if they'd like... especially if you are a vegetarian like me. Let's do this folks!

I liked the original post, personally. I took it to basically mean that we should not be discouraged by whatever is on the scale. We should just keep trudging along because eventually, we will prevail in our journeys to lose weight. To me, that is a great message regardless of how you feel about religion, spirituality, or…

Thanks for the step-by-step guide. I'm going to try to tinker with it later this week.

You look fantastic. The fact that it was the same outfit really puts it into perspective! Keep it up, girl~

If your friend lost 17 pounds in 3 weeks, either she is doing something other than diet and exercise (which you want no parts of) or she is really really big. A healthy goal is 1-2 lbs a week. At times, you will be slightly over or under that, but 17 lbs in 3 weeks doesn't sound right to me. Keep making positive changes to…

This is great and you look fantastic!!! Thanks for including so many details in the original post. It really helps to put things into prospective and show that you just chipped away at it until you achieved big results. Again, awesome job!!

Last year, I lost about 35 lbs and didn't notice a thing. I was wearing the same clothes as I was in the beginning. Now that I have gained most of it back, I still don't notice it. IDK what gives.

I'm a vegetarian. I use protein powder too. I also eat meat alternatives from time to time (Morningstar products, tofu, seitan). I never seem to have a problem getting enough protein.

AMAZING!!!! You are doing awesome!

I need this answer too. My thighs look like hamhocks covered in cottage cheese... NOT attractive.

Good for you!!! Keep it up!

How is it even possible to continue this convo after seeing this post? Case and point! (btw, great work!)

I totally agree. Ppl on FB aren't nearly as supportive as ppl on here. Plus, FB (at least for me) is used for a whole other purpose.

Put the scale away!!! It seems like u are really doing great when it comes to inches. Inches (as u probably know) make you look thinner and make clothes fit better. I hate to see u beating yourself up or getting discouraged when you seem to be doing nothing wrong. So I say, put the scale away. Keep shedding those inches.…

I did it earlier this year and I really need to start again. Hmmmm.....

<---- FAIL!!!! But Im in no way suprised
-
Great job!!!! What are you doing for exercise?
-
I eat when Im hungry, whether its 7am, 6pm, or midnight. If I'm up, hungry, and have calories to spare, I'm gonna eat. And there is no clock in the world that can stop me.

There were a lot of good suggestions already posted, but I just thought of one more. What about exercising late at night, taking a shower, and hoping in bed? When I exercise in the evening, which I rarely do, I sleep like a baby.

^^ This. I used to not eat mine back because I didn't understand how eating more would be helpful. Then I hit a plateau and I started eating back my exercise calories. Viola! The pound shed resumed (and has remained consistant).

Bump! for future inspiration

In just 17 days?? That's awesome!!!

Bump (I was wondering about the nutritional info myself)...

Hey there! You can add me if you want. :-)
