I would recommend some IEM style earbuds. Instead of sitting just outside your ear canal like the Apple earbuds do, the tips are in the canal giving them more contact with your skin, making it harder to accidentally pull them out.. Also, it may help to loop the cables over your ears so that there is a bit of a strain…

I had a bad experience with a Timex HRM (Timex Personal Trainer) at one point. the chest sensor would not actually read my heart rate, most likely because my chest was/is a landscape of rolling hills and valleys (lumpy). Did I just get a really bad/cheap HRM or should I look more closely to wrist mounted HRMs?

So then is choosing a HRM just based on personal preference? If there aren't any differences really, other than the algorithms, what sets the different products apart?

Sorry to kind of co-opt this thread, but between chest, wrist, or any other mounted sensors, which are better? EDIT: By better, I mean more accurate. Sorry :3 Double Edit: Also, any suggestions that can integrate w/ MFP would be greatly appreciated :P

Sorry! I took so long to post that I didn't see that you had posted. Growing up, I ate when I was even slightly hungry, so I never really figured out that 5 (now 6) hours was too long between meals...

I grew up thinking fat in = fat on (self)... It's kind of hard, even now to break that, even though logically I know that fat is simply a more compact storage medium for calories...

Diary is now set to public, sorry >_< I only logged dinner and snacks, because strangely I only made an account in time for dinner and snacks. No exercise yet... I want to lose some weight before I start exercising to help my poor poor joints and feet, since I already have Plantar Fasciitis.
