If you are set up to lose 1 lb per week, MFP will have you at a 3500 calorie deficit, so if you go over your goal by 1200, you are still at a 2300 deficit, so you should still lose a lil over a half pound a week... not sure what you are set up for or how much total you have to lose..

1. Yes 2. 49 pounds 3. No, I don't think it helps metabolism, but I really don't know it for a fact.
-
Going only 1200 calories over for the week will still put you at a deficit for the week, you should still be losing weight. As fr suggestions, I'm sorry, I don't have any, I'm sorry. I tend to do the same thing sometimes.... Good luck on your journey OP.

Weight fluctuates a lot... I always weigh myself at the same time of day the same day of the week. Don't sweat it...

Fridge, not so much, If I had to pick two things... Real Mayo and Vollwerths' Bologna Pantry... that's where my struggle is....

Make wiser choices, chicken, pork over beef, keep clear of the sauces, and fill up on salad first.... Very hard to do when faced with all that yummy food, but you can do this!

Yep, life does get in the way. But, we make time for the things that matter to us. Just yesterday I knew I would not be able to fit in my regular exercise routine, so instead, while at work, offered to go outside and collect shopping carts and push them back into the store. It wasn't what I would have liked to have done,…

We all have our ups and downs. No time like the present to begin again. Good luck OP!

If you are truly hungry, eat. If you are worried about going over your calories, eat something low cal. Veggies of some sort?
-
Lightly Active for sure. Unless you are laying on the couch all day eating bonbons, you are active.

OK, but then its not the diet soda that is making you gain, its whatever you are eating from those cravings that actually have calories. A zero calorie product will not make you gain weight...

Are you accurately weighing all of your food and logging it? If you aren't losing, then you are not at a deficit.
-
Great job, keep it up!
-
Looking good to me, A nice steady healthy loss. Good Job.

I count it all.

Seriously?

I was shocked by a ton of foods, both the calories in them, and the amount of an actual serving. I still struggle with what I "think" a serving should be! lol Peanut butter, cheese and most of my sweets (donuts, muffins, brownies...) the calories shocked me.

MFP will drop your calories when you update your goals. If I remember correctly when I lost the first 10 pounds it dropped me like 100 calories or something? I do not recall exactly, but it was gradual enough I didn't feel deprived. Good luck!

I want my diary to reflect what I have honestly eaten for the day. So If I have logged something that I haven gotten around to eating, I just delete it at the end of the day. I have to be honest with myself both ways, when I go over my calories and when I am under.
-
My advice, stick to what MFP tells you. There are a ton of success stories here of people who have done just that. Good luck on your journey!

splenda and a splash of skim milk... worth the calories for me...

You are going to get 2 very different opinions on this subject i'm sure. I eat breakfast on days that I work, because I know I won't get a chance to eat til break time many hours after I've awaken. However, on the weekends, I do not always eat when I get up. If I am super hungry I do, If I am not, I will put it off as long…

I gained a lot of weight with my pregnancy almost 20 years ago. I never did lose it, just kept adding to it over the years. Passed all of my horrible eating habits on to my daughter, for which I will never forgive myself. I try very hard to stay on track now as I have actually seen and felt progress. Still have very hard…

Congrats, awesome progress!!
