Great job!

It does not solve ALL of your problems, but it can and does solve many. Just being able to physically do more does a world of good for people. Also, as the weight comes off, so can the depression one might be experiencing diminish. JMHO

Wonderful inspiration Robert. Great job on taking your life back! I would love to see before & after pics as well. (Sorry, I do not know how to post them here either...)

Happy you have the support at home as well as here on MFP. I wish you the best on your journey!

Well said.

Yep, had that with pizza a while back, was sorely disappointed...

Interesting responses, I would have thought that the protein was in the yolk, not the white. Learn something new every day.

What are carbs? lol

I am fortunate enough not to have a Five Guys near me! lol I have heard they are great.... How do I cope? I just do not eat out very often. I try to appreciate it as a treat, not a once a week or more thing. Also, I guess I am fortunate in not really caring for fast food....

Two hours is not going to make or break you.

Breakfast Work Snack Work Meal Morning Snack Dinner Extra Snacks Tho I don't know why I bother to separate them sometimes... I wish Recent would come up in all "meals" I hate having to search for something under snacks when I've had it for dinner for example... Mine isn't always logged under the correct "meal" so to speak,…

Swimming is great, no impact, that's why I do it. You do not need an instructor or even a class. Just get in the pool and move. I just swim laps for an hour.... (started out much less) some people just start out walking in place in the pool. Good luck on your journey, you can do this!

Oh my that looks yummy!

Yep, this isn't WW, it is MFP and I believe it is designed to log everything in order for it to work properly. So, yes, I log everything.

Never heard of them, but would be nice if there were more around.

Figure out what made you do it, and learn from it. Start anew the very next day. I went over my calories yesterday by well over 1000. I am not happy with myself about it, but today is a new day and I am back on track. Good luck!
-
If you dislike it that much, quit going.... Use MFP accurately and lose weight.
-
My opinion, always be honest with your doctor. They cannot properly treat you if they do not have all the information.
-
ewww lol

No reason to be scared. If it is something you really want, just fit it into your allotted calories for the day and enjoy it.
-
Thanks all. Guess I can just try it and see how it goes. I can't let this lifestyle consume me. Sometimes there are hiccups in the road that we cannot avoid.
-
How is eating at maintenance going to make me put on what I've lost? Even at 100-200 more than I am now I shouldn't gain.
-
Mine is open as well... I don't look at the macro thing yet. I am still on the "just staying under my goal" mode. I have made improvements over time, but still have a long way to go. It's a life long journey, so I have plenty of time to work on getting better.

This^^ One mistake does not have to lead to another... Everything we do in life requires a decision. Keep trying to make better ones all the time :)

Orville's movie theater popcorn is very similar 25 calories per cup. Nothing here is 100% accurate... the kettle corn is a bit higher... Either way, a bag of popcorn sure beats a serving of potato chips.... calorie wise... I like food, rather have the bag than the single serving... Happy popping....
