LOVE my watermelon too, I was very surprised at the calorie content in it when I started logging for sure. I can have 300 grams (a nice size bowl) for 90 calories. I'm thinking it has got to be the natural sugars in it that give it so many calories. My suggestion OP is to weigh and log it properly, and enjoy it.

$20 digital scale purchased at Walmart.... Do not need anything fancy, just make sure you weigh yourself the same time of day and wearing the same thing each time to be accurate.

People are going to talk, nothing is going to change that. Either graciously accept the compliment, or tell them how you feel.

Just log your cheat day and move on. It is not going to affect your long term goal. You would really have had to eat a ton of calories to have an actual weight gain.

You should never have to explain why you aren't drinking on a date. So you don't order a drink, big deal? Find an activity to do where there isn't an option to order a drink if you feel it will be a problem. A museum or a physical activity maybe? As for any alternatives to getting drunk... enjoy life sober?

I usually swim for exercise, and have found MFP to be quite accurate. I'm not sure about the others because I haven't used them. I usually only eat back about 75% of mine.

Great job! Glad you found something to do that you enjoy. I hope there will continue to be other leagues you can join throughout the year. I used to bowl years ago, maybe I should check into this for myself. I am proud of you, keep it up!

I know this is going to sound harsh OP, but if you are already working 55 hours a week, and $35 is all you have for food, perhaps it is time to look at how you spend your money. Might be time to check your priorities. Do you have cable/internet etc? Maybe get rid of the things that are not really needed to make more money…

You said you ate somewhat strangely anyway? Doers that mean you didn't log your food properly... if that is the case, it does not do much good to try to log the exercise... just sayin...

I have to ask OP, what are you buying with the $35 a month currently? "Healthy" food is no more expensive than "junk" food.

I agree, save the money. Eat at a deficit and continue your cardio and weightlifting. This isn't a race, only thing you need to jump start is a healthier lifestyle.

I feel for ya too. I've been swimming steadily since January, and it has wreaked havoc on my hair. I have natural spiral curls, and it is quite a pain to brush through it. The bleach has made me look like I've gotten my hair highlighted, people keep asking me where I got my hair done. I just tell them at the pool. lol…
